"That's right, Daniel," Y/N said with a smile as she stroked the boy's hair after checking the task.

"And how is my boy doing?" asked Roper as he came out onto the porch and she looked up at the dangerous man, at his side were his men, also the two newest men of his, Jonathan and Santiago. She couldn't tell what was so different about them, of course, they were very attractive, but that wasn't what it was. It shouldn't matter, she just wanted to do her job and after that she would be taken care of. Her job was to teach Richards Roper's son, at least officially, unofficially she was here to get information out about him and his organization. She wasn't here to gush about the two men, after all, they were as much criminals as anyone else here. Y/N was here because of her father; he was in the Secret Service until his death when she was young. The reason he died was Roper and the weapons he supplied. When Spanish intelligence approached her a few weeks ago, she assumed.

"He's doing great, sir," she said, smiling. "Daniel is an excellent student and very bright."

"Takes after his father, I guess," Roper laughed; Y/N nodded silently, but kept his eyes on Daniel, who looked up at her.

"May I go play now, Miss Y/L/N?" the boy asked.

"Yes, you may, but please remember to finish your homework today for tomorrow," she explained to him, who immediately nodded with a smile.

"I will; I promise," he said before hurrying from the table; her gaze followed Daniel until he was out of sight before she began to gather up the books.

"Leave that, one of my men will take them to Danniel's room later," Roper said and Y/N stopped, "Have a nice day."

"Thank you, Mister Roper," she said briefly before walking away, but paused at a corner to listen for anything important being said.

"Let's go down, we don't want to keep the guests waiting" he explained to his men before she heard them walking away. Y/N looked at her watch; it was exactly five minutes until the rehearsal alarm would start, as it had been every day since she arrived. She quickly went up the stairs and searched for the key in his bedroom until she found it in a small box before leaving it and going down to the door of the office. She quickly unlocked it when the alarm started and went downstairs. She quickly started looking for documents until she found a stack and took pictures of the papers.

"What are you doing here?" someone behind her asked through the alarm. Y/N froze and turned to Jonathan.

"I...I..." she stuttered, now noticing Santiago looking at Jonathan as well.

"We have to go," Santiago said, putting the documents back before being grabbed by the arm by Jonathan and pulled out. The three were just outside when the alarm went silent.

"Please, don't kill me," she said softly. The two men looked at each other and began dragging her up the stairs to her room. Santiago looked around before stepping into the room as well.

"What did you do there, Y/N?" asked Santiago firmly.

Tears began to run down her cheeks. "I'm sorry, please don't kill me."

Jonathan furrowed his brow. "Why would we kill you? We just saved you! Damn it," he said, and she flinched from his tone.

"Do you know what would have happened if someone else had discovered you?" asked Santiago and Y/N looked at the floor as she shrugged her shoulders.

"What were you going to do with the documents?" Jonathan raised an eyebrow; she hesitated. Could she tell them the truth? "Remember, we saved you; anyone else would have killed you without hesitation."

She took a deep breath; it didn't matter if she trusted them. The only thing she could do was hope. "I...I was planted here by Spanish intelligence," she said softly. Y/N looked up at them cautiously through her eyelashes and saw Jonathan running a hand over his face.
