Broken hearts and new dreams (athos x Bianca)

Chapter 2

During the wedding reception Bianca was watching the party from a distance. She felt tears forming in her eyes. She would never love anyone the way she loved Athos. She went out onto the terrace and looked out to the Ocean. The party was beginning to wrap up and Athos wanted to dance one last dance with Bianca as a thank-you. He found her on the terrace. "There you are. I was afraid you left without saying goodbye and sharing a dance with me." He said playfully. That made things hard and she turned away for a moment trying to collect herself. Athos knew something was on her mind and he wanted to help. "Bianca is everything alright? I know people cry at weddings but I have gotten the feeling there's something wrong all day today." Bianca turned around to look at him as a few tears slid down. "Nothing is wrong, Dear Athos. I'm very happy for you and I hope your marriage will be everything you wanted." She said with fained happiness. Athos smiled and took her arm. They went back inside and had the most wonderful and painful last dance of their lives. 

A few months later:

Lady Bianca received an invitation to a ball that Count and Countess Dé la Féré were hosting Saturday night. At first she didn't want to go, she couldn't bear the pain of seeing Athos with Sabine. However, something told her she had to go. So she bought a beautiful new ballgown and went to the ball. When she arrived the Estate was beautifully decorated and The ballroom was equally as beautiful. She looked around for the host and hostess. Suddenly she heard "you look very enchanting tonight." She turned to see Athos and Sabine. Athos was smiling at her and Sabine had a smug look on her face as usual. "Thank-you, I brought a hostess gift. " She gave her gift to them and they spoke for 20 mins before other guests started crowding Bianca out. Later on in the evening, Bianca was refreshing her makeup when Lady Dé la Féré came in. She started adjusting her dress and other stuff. One of her sleeves slipped and on her shoulder was a tattoo of a Fleur de lis. She was a branded murderer. Bianca was shocked and mortified, did Athos know about this? and if he did why wasn't he worried? Bianca quickly left the room and headed back into the party. She didn't know what to do. She feared causing Athos any distress but at the same time he was married to a killer. After the party was over, the count invited Lady Bianca to go riding with them. She agreed and the following daywas a day Both Athos and Bianca would forever have nightmares.
