Understanding Eachother

Akio POV

"All most done! Let's gang up and end this!"

We're currently in a fight with a Klazosaur, I've noticed that the others are a lot more in sync now than they were before. We all charged forward but stopped when it covered the FRANXX with this weird blue substance. 

Though the slime seemed to be harmless, which the girls were not happy about. We were getting ready to attack but the substance started to leak inside. "What the hell!?" Everything seemed to be fine until I heard what sounded like a hissing sound? When I looked down at Emica I noticed her suit was melting. 

I whipped my head to the side, knowing she would be upset if I started to stare at her like this. In the middle of the confusion, Strelitzia finished off the Klazosaur. Since I know that I would get my ass kicked if I stayed quiet, I spoke up. 

"I get that we're all glad to be alive but we have a situation we need to address."

"Don't tell them dumb ass!" 

"What is it Akio?" Of course, Zorome's and Futoshi's outbursts caused Ichigo to question some things.

"Um...how do I say this without causing a panic... well, you see..."

"You being exposed!"

I winced when I heard Hiro yell over me. "...Yeah...that..."

I was gonna try and find a way to phrase it that wouldn't cause the girls to freak out. But Hiro and his bluntness had other plans. After that the girl's images appeared, I screwed my eyes shut not wanting to get in trouble. And because I'm morally against looking at them like this. I heard the girl shriek as I kept my eyes closed.

'Of all things...it had to be this...'

Krytonia managed to arrive at the garage for the FRANXX thanks to some help from Zero Two. Once I was sure we disconnected I hung my head down, I had refused to open my eyes the whole way here.

"Emica? Are you still here?"

I heard her hum and I started to tug on my hair. "C-can you please join the others..." She didn't answer but I heard her leave the FRANXX, once I was sure she was gone I opened my eyes and glanced around. I took a deep breath and sighed. 'The other girls are gonna be pissed...'

Sure enough, they were pissed. I can't say I blame them though. Goro tried to calm things down but Futishi made it a bit worse.

"This is stupid." After saying that Mitsuru walked away. "Yeah, I'm with Mitsuru on this one. You guys are on your own." The entire walk to the lockers was silent, though it wasn't tense. While we were changing I couldn't help but notice the slightly agitated look on Mitsuru's face, I couldn't help but sigh. 'He's got it bad...I wonder how long it will take him to realize?'

I felt a small bead of sweat roll down my face as we walked, at some point we started talking and he actually wasn't as bad as I thought he was. He's just got major trust issues."Hey, Mitsuru? How long do you think it'll be until this blows over?" We were in one of the boy's dorms and he started to think bout it. "Knowing the girls, things will be back to normal in a few ho-"

"Hey, guys." He was interrupted when Goro suddenly burst into the room. "I think you'll wanna see this." The two of us looked at each other before we followed him downstairs. 'Seriously...when did they even have time to do this...?' I was a bit surprised when there was a taped line in the middle of the building. 

"Listen up. No boys are allowed on this side of the line."

"Who died and put you in charge!? Just try and stop me."
