Why are guys so impossible to figure out, and to find one that is actually decent, and the first day of school is the perfect opportunity to find a guy who is new and decent.

"Hey Skylar, I missed you so much."my best friend Maddy said, while hugging me.

"Hey Maddy, I missed you so much."I say, even though we went to the mall together three days ago.

"I have to find Ben, I haven't seen him in like...forever!"Maddy says. She hasn't told me about Ben yet, but I've seen him before, and he looks like an okay guy. If he hurts Maddy in anyway though...he is dead.

"So you and Ben?"I ask raising my eyebrows. Her face turning a bright red color.

"Oh, well..."Maddy says while stalling.

"He and I are dating now, so..."

"I approve."I say, knowing she will be super happy to here my approval.

"It's okay, I knew you wouldn't like us dating, but I love him so much, and...wait you said you approve."Maddy asks smiling sweetly before folding me into a hug.

"See you later Maddy, I gotta go to math."I say before rolling my eyes and walking away to get my books from my lockers.

As I'm walking to my locker, I run into a wall I didn't know existed, but unfortunately it wasn't a wall.

"Hey, I'm Dylan."the guy I ran into says. He has brown hair, and beautiful Hazel brown eyes. He is about 6'1, and I am about 5'5.

"If you're done checking me out, would you mind telling me your name." Dylan asks with a smirk plastered across his face.

"I-I a-am." I stutter, embarrassed that he saw me sort of checking him out.

"Any day now, I have a class to go to, and I'd rather not be late on the first day."Dylan says, waiting for me to answer.

"I'm Skylar."I say with confidence, and try to stand a little straighter, but he still is towering over me.

"And we are gonna be late if we don't get to math."he says.

"How did you know I am going to math?" I ask a little weirded out that he knows where I am going...stalker much?

"You are carrying a math book...so do you want to walk with me to math?"

"Sure." I squeak.

As we walk to class, I start thinking about Dylan. He has the most beautiful eyes, and his hair is slightly messed up, but perfect. I don't know what it is about him, but I think he is something special, one of a kind.

"We're here."he says, and I try not to think about the torturous class we are walking into.

I walk into the room and sit down, and as if on cue, Dylan sits next to me.

"Would you mind if I sit here?"

"No you're fine Dylan."I tell him, even though I wanted to sit with Maddy, but there are other classes.

After about an hour of Mr.Brown teaching us about polynomials, the bell rings and we all leave class. I do a fist pump in my head, because no one can honestly say they love math.

The rest of the day is pretty average, but I don't talk to Dylan until after school.

"You wanna hang at my place?"Dylan asks as I walk away from my locker.

"Sure."I say, not knowing what to expect, but from what I hear, this guy is bad news. People are saying he has been kicked out of 8 other schools. That must be some kind of record. I've never gotten in trouble...ever. I wouldn't consider myself perfect, but I'm
close to it, I hope.

Who is this bad boy, and why is he making friends with me?
