Prologue

After the wizards deceived the Winx into believing they had truly reformed, they cursed the ring that had symbolized Orgron's false pledge of peace with Morgana and the terrestrial fairies. Tragically, his deceit cost lives, with Morgana unwittingly triggering a dark portal's emergence into the abyss, a sight unprecedented in Aisha's nineteen years within this realm.

The specialists' belated arrival brought the grim realization that their warnings had come too late. The abyss had already claimed numerous fairies, plunging them into an irrevocable fate. Amidst the chaos, Nabu, ever the tactician, devised a plan. Using his staff, he attempted to seal the portal, yet the exertion of the spell rendered him comatose, drained of vitality.

Aisha stood amidst the turmoil, her heart heavy as she beheld her fiance's lifeless form. Grief and anger consumed her, directed not only at the malevolent forces responsible for the tragedy but also inward, as she lamented her perceived failures to prevent or mitigate the catastrophe. She agonized over her untapped potential, haunted by the notion that she could have averted the disaster had she only wielded her fairy dust in time.

The Winx...her friends, they had healing abilities as well but, they chose to stand there and watch? Why?

This, this angered Aisha, she turned her back on them and fought with Nebula. The Winx tried to get them to see the light, but failed.

The wizards had fallen.

The gentle waves lapped against the shores of Andros, their rhythmic cadence a stark contrast to the tumultuous emotions raging within Aisha's heart.

She stood on the balcony of her family's palace, the moon casting its ethereal glow upon her tear-streaked face.

The events of the past year echoed in her mind with haunting clarity.

Nabu, her beloved, had sacrificed himself to save the Magic Dimension from certain doom.

His loss had left a chasm in her soul, a void that seemed insurmountable. And yet, it was not just the absence of his warm embrace that tormented her—it was the shattered dreams, the unspoken promises, the future they had envisioned together, all now relegated to the realm of impossibility.

In the wake of Nabu's death, Aisha had sought solace on Earth, hoping that the mundane routines of everyday life would dull the ache in her heart.

But even amidst the bustling streets and vibrant city lights, she found herself adrift, a mere shadow of the spirited fairy she once was. The companionship of the Winx, which whom had failed her during this time but the weight of her grief remained unyielding.

And so, with a heavy heart and a soul burdened by sorrow, Aisha had made the agonizing decision to return to Andros, to the familiar embrace of her homeland.

But here, too, she found no sanctuary. Her parents, ever preoccupied with matters of royal duty, seemed oblivious to the turmoil brewing beneath their daughter's stoic facade.

Their expectations weighed heavily upon her, their aspirations for her to assume the mantle of princess, to embody the regal grace and dignity befitting their lineage, a constant source of discord.

Alone in her chambers, save for the gentle fluttering of Piff, her loyal pixie companion, Aisha grappled with her newfound isolation.

"It reminds me of those not so fun days Piff..." Aisha says silently

The laughter of her childhood, the carefree days spent frolicking in the crystal-clear waters of Andros, felt like a distant memory, a relic of a bygone era.

And yet, amidst the darkness that threatened to consume her, a flicker of determination burned bright within her soul.

For Aisha knew that even in the depths of despair, there lingered a glimmer of hope.

Hope for redemption, for reconciliation, for the possibility of a future where love conquered all. And as the first light of dawn illuminated the horizon, casting its golden hue upon the vast expanse of the sea.

Aisha vowed to rise once more, to reclaim her place among the stars, and to confront the challenges that lay ahead with unwavering resolve.

As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, Aisha remained ensconced in her grief, unable to see beyond the shadows that enveloped her. Little did she know that amidst the darkness, a new threat loomed on the horizon, one that would test the bonds of friendship and loyalty in ways she could never have imagined.
