"Hey Gab! What's up?" I said as I pick up my phone on the kitchen counter and went straight to the living room.

[Nothing. Just checking if you're ok.] Gab said with a cool voice."Of course I am. I have no work today. I'm just chilling in my condo co'z I just finished doing the laundry and some cleaning. I know you want to tell me something that's why you called, so what are you waiting for spit it out" I said as I shove a spoon full of strawberry ice cream in my mouth then laid down on the couch near me.

[Oh...You got me!] I heard him chuckle.
"I know you, you won't call without a reason. So what?"

[I'm also free today, so maybe we can have some dinner later?] My eyes immediately widened when I remembered I have a friendly dinner with Nathaniel later at 8. I face palmed my self for being so forgetful."Err...I'd love to, but I-I have to meet a friend later for dinner. He invited me last Wednesday, so I'ts kinda rude to cancel" I explained to him.

[He?] Ah yes... Gab will surely ask whom I will be meeting later."Yes... It's a guy, but don't worry he's a nice man. Remember Nathalie? The little girl I'm talking to you about? He's her older brother. He asked to treat me for dinner in his resto, but it's not a date. Just a late gift and a thank you gift as well" Again I clarified.

[I understand. If you need something, I'm just a phone call away. Beye.] I bit my lips when guilt struck me in the chest.
"Wait!" I shouted before he can even end the call.
[Hhmm?] I sighed in relief when he didn't hung up. "The rest of the day.. I'm free and it's kinda boring here. I need someone to accompany me in watching some movies. Care to join my oh-so-loving and caring bff?" A long pause was followed after I ended my statement. I waited for him to answer.

[Glad you asked. I'll be there in 20 min] He then said with a joyful tone. "Ok. I'll be waiting. Beye" I said with a smile on my lips. [Beye~] He said before ending the call.

Gab arrived exactly 20 min after the call. He bought a lots of food for us to munch while watching some fantasy movies here at the living room. Call us teens, but we oftenly do this stuffs. Being best friends for so long , we're used on having "bff day" on our free time.

It's already 5pm when me and Gab finished the last movie.We had a lot of fun eating our snacks especially eating different flavors of pizza. Gab went home after. He needs to be early on his business trip tomorrow. That guy's an early bird, so don't ask if his always on time.

After cleaning the mess, I went straight to the bath and took a warm shower before preparing for dinner with Nathaniel.
I wore a simple white dress, knee length, and a pair of silver colored wedge. Styled my hair into water fall and just a little bit of make up and I'm ready to go. Exactly the door bell rang after I finished fixing myself. I grabbed my black purse then went outside my room to get the door.

I opened the door revealing Nathaniel wearing a dark pair of jeans and a white botton top. I must admit, He looks so handsome with those clothes. He stared at me then smiled widely, again displaying his perfet set of white teeth. I should ask who's his dentist and might as well pay a visit in his/her clinic and let my teeth cleaned up into a whiter shade of pearl.

Just kidding. It's just that, his smile can blind you because of those super shiny set of diamonds in his mouth.

"Let's go?" He extended his left arm so I can swing mine around his. I gradually accept it. He's just being a gentleman  after all.

Said the sign outside the resto. We arrived after 15 minutes drive from my place. You can tell it's a fancy restaurant by just looking at it's beautiful garden outside with a large fountain in its center. We got out at the main entrance and an employee came to pick up his boss's car for parking. It seems like an elegant dinning place. I bet only rich people can afford this classy way of eating meals.

"Shall we?" My amazement was cut off when Nathaniel spoke. He opened the door for me and motioned for me to get in. 

As we enter, different paintings and pictures were hanged on the walls. The place was pretty neat and artistic. The ambiance is very relaxing with the different shades of light colors scattered around the area.

I was wrong by saying only rich people can afford this kind of dinning. Many office workers, families and even a group of teenagers were enjoying a fine meal. Maybe I'm just exagerating things. Even simple people like me can eat here in such a "fancy" looking place after all.

The waiter lead us to the table where Nathaniel ,I guess, reserved for us. It's located in the balcony where the city lights can be seen. Not so much people are here. Just some coples in the other end and a group of business men in the middle part of the balcony discussing some errands. We are seated at the right most part though. You can smell the sweet scent of roses from up here.

Ahh..... What a nice way to relax....
