The man in the purple waistcoat closed up the animatronics' stomach hatch then stepped back, looking at his creation proudly.

'Everything seems to be in place. Now it's just time to test you' he said softly in a strong British accent that didn't suit him.

Dawktrap adjusted his waistcoat as he looked at what was essentially a slightly taller copy of himself.

It stood on the rusty testing platform of the Pizzeria's Parts & Services department with a blank, but friendly, stare and black platform boots. The robot looked like its creator, except a splash of blonde bleached its fringe. A light blue and pink swirl crawled down the left side of its face, decorating round the eye as it travelled down to his cheek. It wore a purple vest, with pointed shoulder pads, and dark purple flared trousers which were decorated with white stars. His hands had purple fingerless gloves and what looked like purple sweatbands if it weren't for the metallic gloss that shined from its whole body. Its purple and blue eyes were also dim, indicating that it hadn't been awoken yet.

With a proud smirk, Dawktrap walked across the slightly small room to a podium that served as the control panel for the animatronics' testing phase. On top of the podium was an assortment of different coloured buttons; if anyone outside of the department were to look at this, it would just seem like random buttons had been sprawled across the panel. But Dawktrap knew better; he had been host to this body for a long time and had had to relearn the workings of the repair and testing equipment. By now, he was an expert and could easily identify each button.

He pressed a big red button at the side of the panel then watched as the animatronic sprung to life. It blinked and leaned forward before steadying itself, adjusting to its metal body. Dawktrap smiled as he walked round the podium, back to the animatronic who was looking round shyly.

'Have a good sleep?' he asked the robot cheerfully. The animatronic snapped and tilted its head towards its creator.

'Who...are...you?' the animatronic slowly asked. Each word carried a sense of weight and it seemed to use a lot of effort to say them.

'I'm William. I created you.' Dawktrap simply replied, 'you were created to be a new Glamrock animatronic at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, which we're currently underneath.' He continued with then shrugged as the animatronic stared interested, 'we figured a more...human looking animatronic couldn't hurt' he said, almost smirking at his little inside joke; hopefully this one would gain the children's trust more as well.

'The Pizzaplex? ...this restaurant...' The animatronic wandered aloud and its creator nodded. When this one was first being assembled, Dawktrap had uploaded information about the Pizzaplex into the robot's computer chip. Information about the other Glamrock characters, maps, security measures and policies were all on there. However, the rest of the Glamrocks had been friendly and kind...and hadn't involved Dawktrap at all, something that he quickly hated. But now that he'd had a chance to design and create a new Glamrock, this one was more to his design.

'The information is stored in here' the purple man said, pointing to his own head, 'but it may take a few minutes to fully upload.'

The animatronic nodded, trying to understand, but was more interested in its appearance and the room that they currently stood in. Dawktrap watched it proudly; its movement and speech worked brilliantly, and he was sure the information he had placed into the robot would upload soon.

He eventually cleared his throat to break the silence, 'er...there is one more test I need to carry out. But it requires you to go into sleep mode.' He said, looking apologetic.

At first, the animatronic was distracted by the blue light stripes that snaked down both of its arms. However, as Dawktrap spoke, his attention was immediately brought to his creator, something that the purple man couldn't help but smirk at. The animatronic silently nodded before its head drooped down a little, the lights in its eyes dimming, and the blank stare returned.

Dawktrap smiled coldly, returning to the podium.

This was the most important test.

He looked at a small yellow switch at the very top of the panel and smiled before flicking it. Hardly anyone ever used this switch, its paint still shiny and bright compared to the rest of the button's decaying look. And why would they use this? This switch only had one purpose...one that only Dawktrap knew about.

The animatronic made a strange creaking sound as it leant back a little at the waist. At the same time, it's stomach hatch opened; two rectangular doors that connected together when closed. As Dawktrap watched, nothing happened for a second...until-

KER-CHLANG!

A grabber resembling that of a crane game grabber sprung out of the robot's stomach and lurched forward violently, making a grabbing motion with its numerous fingers that made up the trap. It was big enough that a child's head could fit into it and the animatronic lazily wobbled as this strange movement occurred. Once the trap opened then closed, it leaped back into the robot and the doors on its stomach quickly closed.

Dawktrap's face lit up; everything was perfect. The trap and space inside the hatch were big enough to fit a small human in and it worked. He then giggled, staring at his creation.

'You're perfect' he muttered quietly to himself as he thought of a name for the robot then smiled coldly.

Why not name it after his host to further add insult to injury.
