As the light slowly diminished as time went on, we reminisced about the days of our childhood. It was fun back then. We had no worries, we used to have great fun. We used to laugh together, cry together, and even supported each other no matter what. Even now, looking back on those days, we still laugh at each other, with each other and any inside jokes that have lasted for years. My group of friends couldn't have been more of what I could've asked for. That sad thing about growing up is that you grow apart from those that you thought mattered. Some who were meant to come tonight couldn't make it, or were uncontactable. I miss those guys. We all made the group and without all of them there, it didn't feel whole. As the night dragged on, people started to leave. We said our goodbyes and went our ways. This was our last meet up. It was short, but it was great to see some of my old group again, even if everyone wasn't there. See, getting old seems fun when you're young, but when you get older, you'll miss your younger years. You'll miss those who made it fun. Enjoy yourself when you can.
Your parents were right, you know: your childhood is the greatest time of your life. For what I'd give to just be a child again.
