The byers resident

Will byers

As will opened his eyes, they started to sting a big, as a reaction of the bright light creeping through his window. Will hated mornings, especially the light that would come into his window every morning causing him to wake up.

Thus being tired, will sat up, rubbing his eyes and letting out a quick yawn. He moved his arms into a stretching position while standing onto his feet. He walked out of his bedroom and walked into the bathroom he shared with his older brother Jonathan. Soon he would be going off to college with his girlfriend, nancy.

Will looked into the mirror, he was a hot mess, his hair had split ends, he had heavy bags under his hazel colored eyes, and he looked as pale as a ghost. The summer of 86, will couldn't get much sleep, he didn't know why, maybe the result of stress? He thinks the stress might double, after all, he is going into his first year of highschool. "Yippee" he said to himself in the mirror turning on the faucet and stripping down.

He climbed into the shower, the cold water hit his skin like blades. He though maybe Jonathan used all the hot water, like he always does.

After a couple minutes of showering, Jonathan knocked on the door. "Yes, mom? Is that you?" Will said with soap running down his face. "No it's me, can I come in?" Jonathan asked. "Yeah," will said dunking his head back into the water. Jonathan took the key out from under the mat in front of the bathroom door. He placed it into the key hole, opening the door. He shut the door behind him while simultaneously grabbing his toothbrush.

Jonathan and will sat in silence, before Jonathan put his toothbrush back and spoke up. "I'm taking you to school today." He said before leaving the room, shutting the door. Will turned the water off and stuck his hand out of the shower curtain, grabbing a purple towel. He dried his hair a bit before wrapping the towel around his waist. He stepped over to the sink and grabbed his green and blue toothbrush. He put a little dollop of toothpaste on the bristles and started brushing his teeth. He then walked out of the door, walking back into his room.

Will opened up his closet to see that most of his clothes were in the wash. He grabbed out a pair of corduroy pants, a white T-shirt, and a button up flannel. He put his pants and shirt on, tucking his shirt into the pants, then zipping them up. He put the flannel over the shirt and then grabbed his bag.

When he walked into the kitchen, he watched as his mom rushed around getting ready for work. She had been really busy at work this week. He then saw Jonathan grabbing his keys and walking out the door. Will grabbed a bright green apple and walked out the door following Jonathan.

Jonathan put the pair of keys into the key hole in his car. He pulled out an they started driving to will's school. "Will so now that I'm heading off to college, mom can't take you to school so are you alright with walking?" Jonathan asked, as he stopped at a stop sign. "I can ride my bike with Dustin." He said with a faint smile on his face.

On the entire way to the school, they spent it talking about stupid stuff, mostly about Jonathan going to school, will starting highschool and what not.

They arrived at the dreadful place, Hawkins high. Will wanted to go home so bad. Well, at least he had Dustin, his best friend. And only friends. They have been friends since elementary school. They got a long really well, they shared a lot of the same interests.

Will got out of the car, he was kind of intimidated why everyone. They were all pretty tall compared to him. Will wasn't short, he was just short compared to all the seniors and jocks. Will spotted Dustin and ran over to him. "Dustin!" Will yelled waving over to Dustin.

They gave each other a big hug, they didn't spend much time together over the summer because Dustin went to camp. When they were hugging, 2 boys, they looked like jocks, pointed at them and shouted, "look at these fairy's!" They said laughing. Dustin rolled his eyes and pulled will inside the school.

They were walking around to go find their lockers while talking. "So I told you about my girlfriend Suzie right?" Dustin said reaching his hand in his pocket. "Yeah?" Will said looking over to Dustin. Dustin pulled out a little picture from his pocket. It revealed a pretty girl with glasses and brunette hair. "That's Suzie," Dustin said with a wide smile on his face.

They reached their lockers and put their stuff into them. They were silent for the most part, until will opened his mouth. "Well.. I'm gonna head to class, see ya Dustin." Will said as he walked away. Dustin waved good bye.

Will walked into his classroom and took a seat, he sat in the back of the class, it was more relaxing back there. When he looked back up, he saw a boy walk into the classroom. He was tall and pale, and had curly black hair, his name was mike wheeler. Will and Dustin had gone to middle school with him and his friend Lucas Sinclair. Mike looked more mature, before summer, Mike was a lot shorter.

Mike walked right over to will and took the seat right next to will. Will blushed a bit, he couldn't help but think Mike was a little cute. Back in middle school, mike wasn't very popular, but now that he's matured, he might be popular with girls.

The lesson had started, it was pretty boring, it was math class. "This is so stupid" will heard and looked over. Mike looked at will and said, "this lesson is sooo pointless." Mike said smirking. Will giggled, "byers right? We went to middle school together, you were in my bio class." Mike whispered trying not to bring attention to them. "Yeah, wheeler right?" He said smiling. "Y-yeah" Mike said with a blush now creeping up to his face. "Wheeler! Byers! Keep it down and pay attention!" The teacher said as the boys straightened up.

It was now 12:30, and Dustin and will were walking to the cafeteria. "So you know Lucas Sinclair right?" Dustin said putting his hands in his pockets. "Yeah?" Will said. "Do you mind if we sit with him and his friend Mike at lunch? He's kinda my friend now," Dustin said. "Y-yeah," will said blushing. He thought about mike, he was really cute. "Will?" Dustin was snapping his fingers to get wills attention. "O-oh yeah."

They walked into the cafeteria and spotted Lucas and Mike. Dustin walked over there while talking to will. They sat down, Dustin sitting next to Lucas, and will sitting next to mike. Will began to blush, he was sitting really close to mike. Will always kind of had a small crush on mike, ever since 7th grade when they were in the same English class. "Sooo you know Dustin and will right?" Lucas asked mike. "Yeah, I remember both of them from middle school, and I sit next to will in math class." He said flashing a smile over to will.

They were all talking, mostly about nothing, until Dustin brought something up. "Hey will," he said looking at will. "Hm?" He looked back at Dustin. "So remember when I asked if you wanted to catch a movie at the mall after school?" Dustin was smiling as he then looked to Lucas and Mike. "Would you guys wanna come with? I know someone who can get us in for free." He said excitedly. "Who?" Mike said as he tested his elbows on the table. "Steve Harrington," he said smirking. "Pff- No way you know Steve Harrington," Lucas said laughing. "Actually we do know him, he's not all that cool anyways, hes kind of a dork." Will said laughing, while Dustin started laughing his ass off. "Omg dustin- you know, it's t-true," will said laughing even harder. Their laughing was interrupted by the dark haired boy, "we'll be there, right Lucas?" He said shooting his eyes to Lucas. "Wellll, I kinda have to do football tryouts today after school-" he said nervously smiling. "That's fine, me you and Mike can go!" Dustin said looking over to will.

"Yeah, I'll meet you guys there at-?" Mike said before looking over to Dustin. "3:00 pm" he said with a wide smile. "3 it is," he said getting out of his seat at the same time as Lucas.
