The Contract

chapter 26 - life together

Montana's POV

When Zeus and I are sat down together he's shirtless and in his swim trunks. I take a small sip of wine while eating the cheesecake and chocolate strawberries. But suddenly I'm super nervous about what's going to happen. The conversation and the possibilities.

Zeus only takes a bite of the cheesecake before he's done and sipping on water. He leans back and opens his arms to me before pulling me from the side of him and grabbing me to sit between his thighs. He wraps his arms around me from behind and holds me into his chest before kissing my cheek while I'm eating a gigantic strawberry.

"What? I like them," I laugh as he kisses my neck smiling. "You're so damn sexy," he whispers to me as I laugh under my breath. "Even while I'm stuffing my face?" I ask as he chuckles.

"Even more so then," he tells me as I quickly pull away from the plates to let my food digest before I'm eating anything else.

"I like your boat," I smile leaning back into him as he leans into the cushioned pillows on the hot tub. The suns almost down and the lights twinkling with it are beautiful. The wind has a small breeze but it's only making Zeus and I cuddle closer.

"Yacht Mont. I do too. I was thinking we could use it to explore the world a little bit. What do you think about that? Europe maybe?" He asks as I smile harder.

"I like that, maybe in a few months or so," I smile as he pulls me closer. "I have something to tell you," he whispers next as he rubs his hands on my stomach and hips in the hot tub. I hold his arms in my hands as I nod.

"Okay," I mumble as he sighs. "I need you back in the office. I know you don't want to, but I never realized how much you did. Come back," he tells me as I sigh.

"Zeus," I lean back staring into his eyes. "Please?" He asks as I sigh. "I've already been looking for other jobs." I mumble as he sighs. The water is hot and I can only think about the steam and the heat rushing through my body sitting on him.

"I'll help you out as much as I can but I don't want to be an employee." I tell him. "And that's what I need to talk to you about," I add.

"We need to talk about the future." I whisper as I turn in his arms to sit on him sideways and look into his eyes. "What do you see with us say five years from now?" I ask.

"Hopefully we're still together and traveling. Living it up, having sex everywhere possible and you're working with me." He smiles as I laugh.

"I don't know about that working with you thing. I don't think it's good for our relationship Zeus. The whole kids thing, I've had some me time and I never wanted them but you've changed my mind. I can't love you the way I do and not imagine having a family together. I don't care about being married and all even though I would marry you. I care more about us being together for the long run if we decide to have children." I tell him.

"Mont, I told you how I feel about children," he tells me. "But your past Zeus, it would be different for your kids. You'd never let them get hurt, or let anything happen to them. I would never let them get hurt. You have security guards who would protect them, and if it's me you have kids with like I hope, I would die for my child. If we had kids Zeus I'd love them unconditionally." I tell him.

"What's to say we have a daughter and she gets assaulted at school or our son gets molested at the hockey ring? That our child gets raped? Our child gets hurt?" He asks.

"There is always a what if question. But you are Zeus Montgomery and you would never let that happen. Our daughter could get a private education with a security guard and, I'd be a mom in the best way I could. Our son, same thing, but we'd let him go to the hockey ring and we'd have private security there. There's always a what if, but we could do everything as parents to prevent that. We'd raise them as good as we possibly could and hope that they would make good decisions." I tell him holding one of his arms and the side of his neck.
