Chapter 4

~ Rebecca's POV ~

We've been there for at least half an hour and everyone here is so nice. Especially Luke. I've been talking to him this whole time. I looked over my shoulder a few times seeing micheal glaring at us. I honestly don't care. Me and luke are just friends. I'm not gonna date his bestfriend.

"Alright guys" the producer said breaking us from our small conversations. "We're gonna have I.S. sing us there cover in the booth." Pointing to the small room in the back left corner. "I'll instruct you guys what to do". He said as we all walked over to the booth.

He told us to put on the headphones and on 3 we'll start.

Our cover was Monster by Paramore

"3...2...1..." he counted down

We all started to play... and everything started to fade away as we got into the chorus

"I'll stop the whole world.
I'll stop the whole world from turning into a monster, and eating us alive.

We got out of the booth and all eyes were on us... i walked up to luke and he immediately hugged me. God he smelt good.

Soon everyone group hugged besides micheal who walked out before everyone got up.

"You were amazing!" Marissa squealed

We all laughed at her actions

"Thanks" i said while blushing

I look at luke who was smiling down at me

"What?" I asked smirking

"Nothingggg" he dragged smiling looking away focusing on the drink sitting on the table.

I sighed looking down at my phone

"Marissa it's 8:45. We need to leave soon?!" I yell looking at her and calum talking on the couch.

"Alright" she said her eyes not leaving calums

"Hey. Can i ask you something?" Luke said looking back down at me

"Sure?" I said cocking my head to the side

"What's your number? I mean like so u-uh..." luke said his cheeks flushing

"Oh yeah here" i said smiling passing my phone to him as he did the same.

I put my contact name as "beccabear" and gave it back

He gave me mine. I smiled at the name "lukeypoo".

"Thanks" he said hugging me... again.

With that i made my way over to the couch and got marissa. We exchanged our goodbyes with everyone and got into the car.

While i was driving my phone was going off non-stop with text message from luke.

"Who keeps texting you?" Marissa asked trying to look at my phone.

"No one. Probably mom asking where i am" i lie.

The rest of the car ride was silent but enjoyable.

I get home, rush through the door, into my room and flopping onto the bed. Wow its been a long day.

I decided to text luke back.

"Hey luke, sorry i didnt answer i was driving."

"Its fine. Im tired"

"Me too... im gonna sleep"

"Awww okay nighty night becca"

"Night loser"

"Heyyyyyy"
