the coldness of the winter had finally passed as the two were on a peaceful walk on the warm spring day.

the pink tinted petals of cherry blossom were flying across the air as the two made their way through the park.

riki held tighlty onto the girl's hand as she was busy admiring the beauty of the falling petals.

"look at them!
aren't they beautiful?"
miki asked the boy as she was still in awe of her surroundings.

riki wasn't bothered by the petals.
the girl in front of him was far more beautiful than anything the world had to offer.
the way her eyes glimmered under the sunlight as they were wide trying to capture the beauty around her was a mesmerizing sight for him.

"you're beautiful"

miki turned her head to look at the boy as she could feel the redness of her cheeks.
how did he always manage to get her into this state.
miki laughed nervously before hitting the boy's arm playfully.

"stop being so cheesy"

riki chuckled at her flustered reaction while he kept looking at the girl as her attention was quickly stolen by the petals that were falling on her.

as they kept walking, a question suddenly popped into his head.
"why did you hate me so much in the beginning?"

miki turned her head to look at the boy as she was slightly taken aback by his question.

"i didn't like your face"
miki replied casually before going back to what she was previosuly doing.

riki stopped walking as he was looking at the girl with an amused expression.

"you what!?
what's wrong with my face?"
riki asked as he kept touching his face while trying to figure out what the girl meant.

"and you were annoying"
miki continued as she crossed her arms while looking at the boy who was getting slightly irritated by her insults.

"you hated me before i even spoke a word to you, how am i the annoying one!?"
riki asked as he was growing frustrated at the girl.

miki scoffed before speaking.
"you're still annoying"

riki huffed out in irritation before taking steps closer to the girl who began to sprint away from the boy.
riki chased after the girl while she was laughing loudly.

"you, come back here!"

miki laughed at the angry boy before suddenly turning around in front of him, causing him to fall on top of her on the grass.

"you're crushing me-"
miki faked gasping for air as the boy kept lying on her, resting his head against her chest.

the boy lifted his head as he placed his hands next to each side of her head while staring into her eyes as their faces were inches away from eachother.

"am i still annoying?"

miki smiled at the boy as she brought her hand up to ruffle his hair before cupping his face in her hands.
miki stared into the boy's eyes lovingly before speaking.

"you're adorable"
