"Wendy Leona Harmony Wu, that is the name of my one and only daughter and heir. From now on she will be known as a member of the Wu family's main branch's one and only daughter." Joshua announced, shocking everyone in the room excluding his wife and the lawyer beside them.

Noticing the deep frown upon his second cousin's face Joshua confronted him, "Amend, I suggest you stop your idiotic thinking of putting your son up to be my heir. The only reason I was tolerating your side of the branch was because of my cousin.

"This is my last warning to you. Do not go too far, I am not afraid to get rid of you and your snob of a family! So stop pushing us to adopt your delinquent of a damned son!" Joshua warned.

"We will raise OUR daughter with the best of our abilities, and yes that does mean we do not need any of your suggestions nor opinions. If any of you want a say in this I suggest you take it elsewhere, because we are not listening to your crap." Amber firmly declared, as she took the sleeping child from her husband.

Once Joshua, Amber, and their child left the room Amend and the others continued to stare at the door they left out of.

"Are they being serious?" Amend asked, snapping everyone out of their trace.

"Not only are they serious, they have also already passed the legitimacy of the Wu family inheritance onto that child already," a lawyer stated, "Once she turns 21, she'll have control of all the inheritance."

"There's nothing in our name," questioned Amend's wife.

"Of course there isn't, everyone in this company knows that you and your husband are vampires. Sucking all our resources as your own, do you really think that the main branch would leave you anything? Come on, Ginnifer, you and your husband almost made the company go bankrupt for a 'project' you guys had," Emmitt exclaims, "If it were not for the main branch fixing your mistakes, we would not be standing where we are now. They are not going to make the same mistake twice."

"You didn't get anything either," Ginnifer retorts.

The lawyer spoke up, "Actually, Emmitt's family has 20 percent of shares."

"Shut your mouth," Amend grits his teeth at his wife, "You're making things worse."

"You think you guys are better off?! All of you guys sold a trade secret! You think you'll get off of this scratch free?! Dream on!" Ginnifer yelled, her expression appearing psychotic.

"We. Are. Leaving," Amend announces as he drags his wife out, stopping her from embarrassing him further.

After the Armor couple left, the whole room was veiled in silence. No one spoke nor did they dare to, for they knew that they were already f**ked.

Suddenly a small voice spoke up, "Mommy, I'm hungry."

"Mrs. Knight, when did you arrive?" Lawyer Soo asked, looking at the mother and child.

"I came to have a meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Wu, but I see that I came at a bad time," Mrs. Knight awkwardly stated.

"Not at all. The trouble just left," Amber states, appearing out of nowhere, "Now, come with me while Lawyer Soo reads out the rest of the inheritance to everyone else.  And I have already put our daughter to sleep, and little David can go and eat in her room."

"What do you say son? Do you want to go and eat in little Wu's room?" Mrs. Knight asked, getting down on the same level as her child.

With a nod David agreed, not long after grabbing something to eat they headed to the baby nursery, where baby Wendy soundly slept.

"Oh my, are you positive you want to eat here David? What if you wake the baby up?" Mrs. Knight asked.

"I promise to be a really quiet boy," Davis whispered.

"Alright, mommy will come to get you later," Mrs. Knight whispered back.

After the two grown ups left David walked up to the baby crib and stared at the sleeping child, as a child from a noble family he was taught many things. For the first time of his 3 year old life David wanted so badly to protect the child n front of him. He wanted this child in front of him to be his little sister.

As if feeling someone staring at her, little Wendy woke up. Instead of finding the smiling faces of her mother and father she saw a little boy staring at her with awe. Before she could utter a cry the little boy gently rubbed her forehead trying to soothe her.

"It's okay little Wendy, big brother will not do anything to hurt you," David said, wanting the baby to understand that he was not a threat.

Not long after the grown ups came back, only to find the baby Wendy lying in David's arms. The two children seemed to get along very well, one was entertained while the other was the entertainer.

"David, did you comfort Wendy when she woke up?" Amber asked.

"Yeah, it was easy..." David boasted, very confident in himself.

"Maybe next time aunt will leave you to watch over little Wendy, what do you say about that?" Amber asked.

"Mommy can I baby sit Wendy?" David asked, looking for an answer from his mother.

"Not that I mind, but can you really look after a baby when you yourself is a baby?" Ester asked, amused.

"I am not a baby, I am a big boy!" David yelled confidently.

"Alright big boy, whenever aunt is busy I will send little Wendy over for you to look after," Amber said.

"Are you ready to get going? Dad is waiting for him at home for some great news!" Ester announced, trying to rile her son up.

Not long after the Knight's family mother and son left, Amber took her daughter to the underground parking lot where her husband waited for them.

"I Just received a call from Mr. Knight, he says that he will cooperate with us during the project." Joshua informed his wife.

"I think Wendy played a big role in that, the child from the Knight's family took a great liking to her. He even suggested that he would babysit her," Amber laughed.
