Chapter Four

Hailey's P.O.V.

Professor Flitwick started the class and I had to shake Hermione to focus. I laughed a bit. She looked at me and was clearly embarrased. Professor Flitwick addressed the class briefly, gave out directions, and then the room burst with sound and he just sat down in his chair oblivious to the sudden increase of sound.

"So... Who ya thinking about?" I asked Hermione smiling. Her blush became redder. She stared at the desk and laughed at herself.

"... Ron ..." She said finally. I giggled and she looked at me smirking.

"Hey it's ok. If you want I could tell him!" I said excitedly. Her eyes became wide and horrified.

"No! No please don't" She begged. It took a while for me to reassure her that I wouldn't. I tried the spell for a while then got a bit bored after accomplishing it. I looked around the class and saw Ron angrily mumbling and staring at the small bean-bag we were supposed to vanish. Harry was prodding the bag with a more force than neccessary. I sighed and looked at Hermione who was happily vanishing and making her bag reappering.

I laid down lazily into my chair randomly flicking my wand doing random spells on the bag. It changed color from red to green then a mixture of both.  I magically placed the Hogwarts crest on the bag. After what seemed to be an eternity, Professor Flitwick finally told us to return the bags then leave. Instead of walking to his desk, I made the bag appear on Professor Flitwick's desk which he looked particularily impressed.

Hermione was being all dreamy again. I walked over to Ron and whispered in his ear making sure that Hermione saw.

"Hey Ron, Chocolate Frogs are awesome!" I whispered and he just laughed. He noticed that I was looking at Hermione and to my advantage, he started staring at her. Hermione looked mortified and I just ran away giggling. I heard her angrily yell from the hall and I started running. I was carefully avoiding people but apparently I wasn't that succesful. I ran into that boy from Potions.

"Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to run into you! I was just getting away from Hermione. I'm Hailey." I said rushingly. I looked behind me and checked if the coast was clear. The boy chuckled like he was an adult and I was an amusing child.

"Nah it's ok. I'm Chris by the way. I'm also in Gryffindor." He said smiling and offering his hand. I shook it and then I saw unmistakable bushy brown hair from the croud.

"Nice to meet you! Now bye!" I said hurriedly and I scurried into the Great Hall for lunch. I took a chance and looked back and saw that Chris was watching me. I allowed myself a small smile and sat next to Harry making sure he was blocking me from Hermione.

"Hiya Harry!" I told him a little hyper. He looked at me caught off gaurd. He laughed and I hid behind him just in time. It seems I didn't hide too well.

"Hailey!!!" Hermione yelled at me with Ron right behind her. She didn't seem to notice that he was there. By the looks of him, he seemed pooped out and tired.

"Gosh don't do that! You scared me! I was all freaked out until Ron told me all you said was some rubbish about Chocolate Frogs!" She burst out angrily. I had a hard time keeping a straight face.

"It is not rubbish. Chocolate Frogs are awesome!" I said then I burst out laughing. Partly at Hermione's mortified expression. It took her a while to calm down.

"What in the bloody hell are you guys talking about?" Ron asked annoyed and extremly curious. I giggled and he looked completely bewildered.

"Would you like to tell him Hermione?" I asked her with a smug look on my face. She shot me a glare. Other than that she ignored it and just ate her lunch. After the classes were finally done, I was so tired I just plopped on the couch closest to the fire but Hermione just sat across from me with a book in her hand. I was zoned out instantly having only a few minutes till unconciousness. I stared at the fire and I saw faces again. Some I didn't recognize but there were deffinetily some I did. I didn't realize to have dozed off until what felt like a second later, some one was shaking me.
