     salem stevens is everything he shouldn't like. she doesn't know when to stop talking, she fidgets too much, talks loudly and... she's his girlfriend's best friend.
     but his pulse raises every time she's close. 
     and it's so wrong in every way, because maybe he likes her laugh a little too much and the way she smiles drives him mad. 
     so matt avoids her eyes because every time he looks at them, his heart skips a beat. he doesn't stare at her for too long because then he won't be able to take his eyes off her. 
     he ignores her until one day he can't.
