"Jin Hyung, we have to go to sleep now," Jungkook called out from the bathroom with a towel over his hair and wearing new clothes.
"I know, I know," I replied back quickly, checking the window that showed nothing but slight darkness for what felt like the 10th time now.
The news of that man being outside of jail petrified me to the bones, the thought of that he could be anywhere. He could even be in this building, but that couldn't happen. Right?
"Didn't I promise you that you wouldn't get touched by him?" Jungkook said, lifting me from off the chair towards the bed with ease.
"I know, thank you Bae," I muttered silently, kissing him on the cheek as we got inside the bed together.
There's nothing to worry about. He is not here. He can't be. Yes, everything is fine. Nobody knows we're here.
"Goodnight Baby," Jungkook whispered sleepily, his chin placed on my head just like he always did.
I was facing his chest, my hands gripping onto his shirt as if I would get ripped away from him. I didn't want that to happen.
Jungkook knew the signs of when I felt scared, his arm slowly wrapped around my back and pulled me close to his own body.
"Goodnight Kookie," I answered softly, closing my eyes as Jungkook switched off the lights from the side of the bed.
Think happy thoughts. You're in holiday with the man that you love the most in the entire world. Nothing can change that.....
The sound of glass breaking woke me up instantly, wanting the grip onto Jungkook tightly but he wasn't there, just a large pillow instead of him.
I sat up from the bed and looked around to see nobody else, seeing the light was from outside the door.
"Jungkookie, did you drop a glass," I asked tiredly, picking up the pillow and walked out of the room, thinking of hearing an excuse already but there wasn't.
Looking past the corner, I dropped the pillow and gasped loudly, my hands going to cover my mouth unconsciously.
That man. He was here. In this apartment. He had looked different from before but his face is something I will never forget about. My nightmare became true.
Jungkook had been restraining him but had been loosing bleeding from the head. The pieces of glass had came from a wine bottle that had contacted his head.
"Oh! Princess! I've been looking for you everywhere!" The man yelled happily, trying to get out of Jungkook's grip but Jungkook had held him tightly.
"Jin Hyung," Jungkook grunted, "Run away, take that exit I told you about and alert the receptionist,"
"No! I can't leave you!" I yelled back but my body moved back without my control.
Run away. You should listen to your boyfriend. He's always right.
No. I can't leave him alone with that monster. I'm the cause and he's my problem.
You can't do nothing about it. Just get help, you're useless anyways....
This snake. I had opened the door, thinking that it was a worker from the hotel but I didn't expect to see him and he used that to my advantage.
Now I loosing my consciousness slowly but I have to keep him away from Jin Hyung. If I can do that until Jin can get help, then I have no problem doing that.
Even if I die. Because I know I have protected someone precious to me. I just wish it could have been my husband, not my boyfriend.
"Let go of me," The man warned mockingly, a smirk was plastered on his face.
"No chance, I won't let go until Jin Hyung has left this building, even if I die,"
"Even if you die? You pathetic human! I have been waiting for so long in that rotting jail while you're here, enjoying yourself in here, it's time for me to enjoy-"
One second I had been staring him down, the next he had been falling to the ground with the sound of a glass breaking.
"Don't touch him!" A scream came out afterwards, making me look at my side.
Jin Hyung had been beside me, breathing heavily and terrified of what he had just done.
"Jin... Jin Hyung,"
He immediately looked at me with scared eyes, grabbing onto me when I staggered backwards.
"Jungkook!" He had screamed blindly, clutching onto me as I lost the control over my legs.
Laying on the ground, my gaze was on Jin. I've protected him from the darkness but if I was gone, who would protect him then?
"Good job... Hyung," I claimed gently, using all of my strength to hold onto Jin's head and gently pushed him against my chest.
"Jungkook! You need help!"
"I think... I think my time is running out,"
"Don't! Don't say that! I got someone to alert the receptionist, I did what you asked me to!" Jin ranted.
"Good good, you were so brave Hyung," I complimented, seeing Jin nodded quickly, tears dropping out of his eyes.
"Don't cry for me," I insisted quietly, feeling myself lose consciousness by the second.
If I die, then there is still something I need to tell him.
"Jin Hyung, if I die-"
"Just stop!"
"Please listen to me Hyung, I need you to go to that cabinet I told you not to open and open it okay, keep it safe," I muttered, cupping his face for him to look at me.
"Please," I pleaded.
"Okay, I will," Jin Hyung promised, nodding his head in agreement.
The feeling of exhaustion was starting to set in and my body was slowly starting to give up. Mentally I didn't want to give up but I had to accept it and it was just like falling asleep.
My eyes felt heavy, and the world was beginning to disappear under my closing lids. The world around me went unfocused and then it all went black...
At least I kept my promise. A promise that he wouldn't get touched by him. I'm glad. I'm glad I get to die by Hyung's side....
