Virgil hummed as he strolled through the garden. It was exactly midnight, the moon shone brightly giving him light as he walked. He ran his finger across the petals of the roses, tulips, peonies, and the other flowers. He settled himself on the bench, staring up at the clear night sky. The stars shined and shimmered so brightly, it was a breathtaking view. He turned to look at the, now, dark castle. All lights were out, expect one.

A grand balcony hand off the stone walls, roses of all colors and vines wrapped themselves around the banister and dangled gently off of the balcony. The big double, glass doors had a soft light emitting from within. Virgil question to himself who on earth would be awake at this hour, well other then him of course.

Virgil gasped quietly to himself as one door open wide and a young man stepped outside it. The man leaned against the railing and held his face in his hands. Virgil watched the man seemed to fight with himself about something. The man ran his hands down his face before removing them. He stared up at the great night sky.

Virgil took this time to study the young gentleman. He was wearing a set of dark red, silk pajamas. He had three buttons undone on the shirt, and the pants fit his waist loosely. The trim of both the shirt and pants were white, along with the buttons on the shirt were white. The man had soft brown hair that laid messily on his head, it seem he had gripped his hair and messed it up. His skin was a soft tanned color. He had a slightly broad build to him, he looked fairly muscular to be honest.

The man changed the direction of his eyes to back to looking out upon the grounds of the kingdom. Virgil quickly, but carefully, started to leave. He felt slightly embarrassed for study the young man so detailedly. Quietly and quickly, Virgil moved through the path, making sure to not give himself away as to of being there.

Once out of the garden, he slowly walked away and back towards his small, dirty home. He turned once more to see the young man from the balcony watching him go. The man quickly turned away as he noticed he was spotted. Virgil smiled some to himself, he didn't feel as perverted now that he caught the other man staring at him.

Virgil crept up the stairs of his home, settling himself on the bed. He sighed deeply looking around at his world. Oh how he wished to live the castle, it would much bigger and cleaner then his tiny, dusty cottage. Virgil lives with his ill mother, he works to provide and take care of himself and his mother. His father left for a much wealthier woman when he was much younger, around 7 years old. Leaving him and his mother to poverty.

Virgil dressed himself in his pajamas before laying down and pulling the covers over his shoulders. He relaxed into the mattress and drifted away into sleep.

As he dreamt, the young man from the balcony danced around in his mind. The way the moonlight shone on his face or the way his hair laid so messily but so perfect on his head.

However what Virgil didn't know as he slept was a certain prince was thinking the same as him...
