Funeral

Everyone has returned back to Washington D.C. The President stood right outside the capital with the calamity gods behind him. He walked to the podium, there was a large crowd of people in front of him. The President said "Everyone, today will be a day for the whole world to remember. We lived peacefully for 3 years, unknown to us was that the calamity war still hadn't ended, but now, with Darcy finally dead, it is finally over. And now that we have the portal that Darcy used to get here, we can finally travel to Amphibia on our own, and since the Amphibians fought with us in battle, we can hopefully make peace with them, we will finally be able to coexist with them going forward. The monster that attacked us was ruthless, but we had something that they did not. Everyone, I present to you the heroes of Earth, the Calamity gods." Everyone cheered as the Calamity gods walked onto the podium, Anne smiled at them all and said "Hello everyone, you all probably know my name already, I'm proud to have been here to defend you all, I don't regret a single part of embracing these gifts of mine, and I will continue to use them for the rest of my life. What we need to focus on next is fixing what Darcy took. And right now me and my friend's top priority right now is returning those gems that Darcy stole to Newtopia to restore its power. Then we need to rebuild the damage that they caused there. And I also just wanna mention someone I care deeply about who lost his life at the hands of Darcy to save me, he was Amphibian, he helped me fight in the war and helped during the Frogvasion, his name was Hop Pop, and he was a hero. I'm gonna miss him a lot. But his death was not in vain, because the world can finally live on! And that's what he wanted! And I hope to see a future where humans and Amphibians can finally live together in peace, me and my friends will make sure of that!" And everyone cheered after she finished talking. 
Later, the Calamity gods returned to Amphibia with two of the three calamity gems, they were completely drained of whatever that dark energy was that Darcy had put inside them. Sasha handed them to Grime, Grime brought the gems back to Newtopia and charged them up with electricity, the gems began to glow bright white, Grime plugged them in and then, all the power in Newtopia had returned. Olivia and Yunan looked as all the lights turned back on, Olivia turned around and looked at Marcy and said "Simply saying thank you isn't enough for everything you and your friends have done for us Marcy. I can't thank you enough." And Marcy replied "Oh, I'm just making up mistakes I made in the past, that's all." Olivia and Yunan smiled and as the three walked through the city, Marcy said "Oh, and uh, Happy wedding anniversary by the way, I know it's a little late to be saying that but, you know." Later, Marcy joined up with Anne and Sasha as they used their powers to levitate a bunch of rubble off the ground and helped rebuild the destruction that Darcy had caused in Newtopia. After lot's of construction, Newtopia was all fixed up, Sasha then asked her friends "So, what should we do now?" And Anne replied "There is still one other thing we must do first..."
Later, the Calamity gods arrived at the Plantars house, but they weren't the only ones there, Ivy was there too. Along with Grime, Olivia, Yunan, and several others, Andrias was there too but he was to big to fit in the house so he stayed outside. They were all there to attend the funeral of Hop Pop, the coffin with his body was sitting in the living room. As everyone else was busy having conversations with each other, Anne walked over to the coffin, she put her hands on it as a tear came out of her eye. She held a photo she took of herself and the whole Plantar family. Hop Pop was on the photo, she then opened the coffin where she saw Hop Pop's body, and she slid the picture into his hand, and then she closed the coffin. Sasha walked over to her and asked "Are you alright?" And then Anne immediately turned around and hugged her. Sasha smiled and said "I know how important he was to you, but he would be happy to know that you saved the world from Darcy. Let him rest now." Anne wiped her tears away and said "...Ok." In Sprigs room, Ivy was there sitting next to him, comforting him over the loss of Hop Pop, Ivy then said "It's ok now Sprig, the one who killed him is dead now, Hop Pop can finally rest in peace." Sprig cried a bit and said "I-I know... He was just the only parent I had left. And now he's gone.... I miss him so much." And then Ivy kissed him and said "I'll always be here for you if you need me. Alright? I love you." Sprig nodded and smiled. As Ivy left the room, Anne walked in. She sat down next to Sprig wrapping her arm around him, Sprig was silent for a bit before looking at her and asking "Me and Polly aren't old enough to take care of ourselves yet, what are we gonna do now?" And then Anne thought for a bit before saying "You and Polly could totally stay at my home in the human realm for a while if you'd like." Sprig looked at her with a surprised expression saying "Wait, are you serious? Thank you!" Sprig hugged Anne as he cried a bit. Anne hugged back and said "You're like a brother to me, I would totally let you stay." 
Soon, the time came to bury Hop Pop's body, they moved his coffin onto a wagon and pulled it, taking it to be buried. Anne, Sasha and Marcy walked next to each other following it from behind, along with Olivia and Yunan, the Plantars, Ivy who was holding onto Sprig's hand to comfort him as they buried Hop Pop, Grime, and Andrias. They made their way through a grassy field, and then, they arrived at Wartwood and passed through the town, several citizens watched in sorrow as Hop Pop's body was taken the be buried. Soon, they arrived at the burial site. There was already a large hole next to a tombstone there waiting for them. They took the coffin and carefully moved it into the hole. They all stood there Honoring their fallen friend in silence as it started to rain. Later, the funeral ended and it was almost time to cover up the coffin, as Olivia and Yunan walked home, Yunan said to Olivia "How can we honor him? As a soldier? A parental figure?" And Olivia responded "Maybe, just a kind hearted soul." And then, the only ones left at the burial ground were the Calamity gods, and Sprig and Polly. Sasha looked at the gravesite and said "I remember when I used to think these people were just a bunch of stupid frogs and wanted nothing to do with this world, but now... seeing Hop Pop gone makes me feel so guilty for saying that..." And then Marcy felt a small amount of regret as she looked at where Hop Pop was buried and said "I allowed his death to happen... but, blaming myself for it is not what he would want. It's time I got myself some therapy...." Anne silently walked over to the gravesite, the hole still hadn't been covered, she scooped up a handful of dirt and dropped it onto the coffin. She then said silently "I... I'll miss you Hop Pop.... you'll be in a better place now...." She then walked back to her friends and said "Come on, let's go home." Polly looked back at the grave as a couple frogs went to cover it up, she tried damn hard to hold back her tears as she turned to walk away with Sprig and the Calamity gods. They opened a portal and returned to Earth.
