The game completely shut down and I shut down with it. I fell to the floor and felt my whole body freeze. No clear breaths, no words, just fear. What was supposed to be a fun little game with a few glitches turned into a horror movie about my past in which I had forgotten about... and I felt awful about it.
I could've saved my family, but instead -"Sophie!"
"Where ya at, love?"
"Still playing that game?"
Shit
Before I could do anything, she opened the door of the dark basement and saw me sitting on the floor like a child.
"Soph? Why are you sitting on the floor?" She asked.
I didn't respond, I was still petrified.
She walked up and held out her hand. I grabbed it and she helped me up. I still didn't say anything, I just gave her a doe eyed look and put my head on her shoulder.
"Sophie... what's wrong? Why aren't you talking? Did something happen?"
She played with my hair, which bought a very faint smile to my face, but it was temporary.
"Talk to me." She said.
How do I word this without it sounding like I'm functioning on 30 minutes of sleep? Well, I am, but this wasn't because of that.
"Th- the game. Those glitches were so much more than we thought they were."
"Oh... okay... did they freak you out a little too much?"
"Y- yeah. There was more, but I'm worried you won't believe me."
"I will always believe you, Soph. Let's go talk about it."
She put her arm around me as we walked back to the room we shared in the Entfernt Hotel.
"You should sit down, soph. You look really stressed."
"Thank you, Jenny." I said, sitting down on her bed.
"So... you said that Bunnyfarm mightve been trying to tell you a message a while ago... and you're really panicked right now, so I'm assuming it... was?"
I nodded.
"Okay, tell me everything the best way you can."
Everything came out... every single detail I could remember.
"I found my family and found what happened to them. The reason why I started taking my stupid medication was to forget all the shit that happened with them and I feel so stupid because I spent so much time trying to forget about them when I could've helped them.
My siblings, Edd and Molly were killed in a car crash and were buried somewhere. Some guy named Felix, who I'm assuming my parents knew was supposed to be watching after them but he was drunk and... sorry."
I started tearing up just thinking about it. They were only kids...
"Sophie, it's okay. Keep going when you're ready ." She said as she came over to sit by me.
"My dad was furious and became super... depressed and then went missing several nights later.
The animatronics at Bons Burgers have dead bodies trapped inside of them... and I'm pretty sure my dad might be trapped in one."
"Jesus fucking christ, is there anymore?"
"My mom, Rosemary was killed by dismemberment by... Bon I think? I don't know, It sounds stupid... to think she would be killed by a fucking animatronic of all things."
"No, not at all."
"Bon told her she would make her beautiful... the last thing I heard from her were blood curdling screams and then Sha breaking the fourth wall and asking 'Am I still beautiful to you, Sophie?'. Jesus, I don't even know if I'm making any sense."
"You are Sophie, So your mom is probably trapped inside Sha... this is so fucked up."
"I just don't know what to do, maybe I could save my dad and figure out where the rest of my family is? Maybe I can figure out... God I don't know, what if something were to happen?"
Jenny hugged me and made soothing motions on my back.
"Sophie, I'm going to help you figure this out. We can find your dad, we can figure things out together. "
"What if you get hurt? Or worse?"
"Don't you worry about me, Soph. I will fight just to make sure you get what you deserve. We'll pull through this together, okay?"
I nodded and hugged her back.
