*PAULS POV*
Do you know what its like to see the girl you've always pictured yourself with, in love with your best friend? Do you know how it feels to be the reason she almost didnt remember the either of us? I can tell you, my whole life i'v waited for a girl like Maddison. and i'v found her. but i'v been friendzoned. and i cant do a damn thing about it. because shes in love with Danny. and Danny's in love with her.
Danny puts a hand on my shoulder. "Whats wrong Paul? you just played a crowd of 8000. You dont have post show hype." Danny says. i shrug. "You upset about Becca?" Danny asks sitting down next to me on the small couach in my dressing room. "Not at all. i meant everything i said earlyer." i say honestly. "You were really harsh Paul." Danny says. "Well she needed to hear it." i say. The door opens and Joey walks in. "Boys, you ready to go? 1 more show in Texas tomorrow then we are headed home to Maryland for a few days." Joey says. i smile. i couldnt wait to be home. i missed my bed, i missed my house, i missed home. "Yeah, lets go to the hotel." Danny says standing up.
we walk out of the room and Maddie is glued to Danny's side. i roll my eyes. of course. we walk to the bus, saying hello to a few fans who remained outside. When we get on the bus i lay down on the couch. "Im beat." i say with my arm over my eyes. "You and me both." i hear danny say. Maddie laughs a bit. god her laugh was adorble
*MADDIES POV*
"Do you guys think you did good tonight?" Joey asks the boys. "I think we did ok." Paul says. "I think we were a bit weak on Hold you, but other than that, i think we did good." Danny says. he pulls me onto his lap so my back is pressed to his chest. i settle into him. "Maddie, what do you think?" Joey asks. "i loved it." i say honestly. "Well there is plenty of room for improvement." Joey says. "Rehersal as soon as you wake up." Joey says.
When we get to a hotel, Paul Danny and i share a large room, with 1 bed. "You guys take the bed, "i'v got the floor." i say grabbing my blanket and pillow. i set up a bed on the floor. i walk to the bathroom. i lookat myself in the mirror. and like always, i point out my many flaws to myself. i feel two strong arms snake around my waist. Danny rests his chin on my shoulder. "Whats wrong?" he asks. i shrug. "nothing." i say while brushing ym teeth. "Your not gonne sleep on the floor love." Danny says. "My back hurts, i want to sleep on the floor." i say.
i finish brushing my teeth. "I'll sleep on the floor with you." Danny says. "No babe, its fine." i say taking his hand and walking out. Paul is already laying on the bed. i turn and kiss his lips. "I love you." i say. i lay down on the floor and pull the blanket up to my chin. Danny climbs in the bed with paul and we all drift off to sleep.
*DANNYS POV*
i wake up to a sharp scream. i sit up looking around the dark room. another scream. i dart up and to the spot where maddie lays still asleep, but crying. i shake her. "baby wake up!" i whisper. i kiss her lips pulling her from her dreams. "D-danny?" she asks. "im here." i say. she lets out a soft sob. i lay down next to her pulling her to my body, pulling the blankets over us. "You ok?" i ask her. "just cold. bad dream." she tells me. "shhhh, im here now." go back to bed." i tell her. she settles into me before she drifts off to sleep. i lay awake thinking of the lie iv been keeping from both her and paul. and it was killing me inside.
