6. Partners

Sunghoon POV:

I rolled over for the hundredth time that night noticing the sun was beaming on my skin. I then looked up to see Sunoo also awake staring at me. I blushed before looking at the clock and noticing it was 6:00 AM. Great. It is 6 am and i spent the whole night worrying about a possible crush developing.

"Good morning, Park Sunghoon, did you sleep well?" Sunoo said smiling brighter than ever.

I nodded despite knowing I did not get a single second of sleep that night.

"Great! I know you don't have your uniform so you can borrow my spare. Yes, I'll risk smelling for you" he rolled his eyes whilst the older laughed. "Anyway, let's get changed and then eat and go!"

"Okay." I replied quietly before getting ready. I got up and took the uniform and went into the toilet to get changed.

End of Sunghoon POV                                                                           
Sunoo already changed and looking perfect as ever ran downstairs to make some breakfast for them both whilst Sunghoon got ready. The younger was humming to the song 'epitome project' from his favourite drama 'Extraordinary You' as he made an omelette for them both. Sunghoon walked down into the kitchen and watched in awe of the boy cooking so cutely making his heart flutter again. His attention then went to a girl who was also cute like Sunoo but not as cute, Sunghoon had to admit. She looked at him with the same confused look both Sunoo and his mum gave him the day before and asked Sunoo who he was.

"Yah, Kim Sunoo. Who is the boy and how did you score someone so handsome?" She asked as if annoyed that Sunoo was so charming, he could pull anyway he wanted.

"Hey Sunoo, how are you? I really missed you the past few days but i am back now" he replied sarcastically before sticking his tongue out and continuing to cook.

Sunghoon smiled at the scene and continued to watch Sunoo with the same admiration he had before.

"Oi you rat, talk to your elders with respect. Anyway you didn't answer my question. Who is he? He is very handsome, if he isn't yours can I have him" she joked.

"You're gross noona. This Sunghoon hyung and for your information we are just friends and he also saved my ass last night so please go ahead and thank him" he replied pouting angrily.

"Sunoo! Your omelette is gonna burn." She replied laughing.

"Ah fu-" he paused before saying "i mean, Sieun why did you have to distract me? I was making this for my guest."

"Don't worry Sunoo, I bought us some breakfast doughnuts. Well they aren't really breakfast doughnuts but anyway here you go both of you, help yourselves" she smiles before leaving to go and rest.

"Ahh sorry Sunghoon, anyway here you go" handing the raven haired boy the box of doughnuts.

"Thank you for this Sunoo. All of this i mean. I know we only met yesterday but you have made me feel so welcome here!" He replied, surprised at how easily he spoke with ease because the presence if someone that cute was so irresistible.

"You're welcome Hoonie! You can come here anytime." He replied noticing the elders face turn a shade of crimson probably at the use of such an adorable nickname. The room fell silent as the boys ate the doughnuts whilst gazing at each other.

Sunoo broke the awkward silence with a cough and looked at the time. "Oh shit we have to go hyung or we'll be late!" They rush up and leave the house and at the same time the school bus arrived. The boys got on the bus and sunoo walked to his group of friends dragging Sunghoon along with him.

Sunghoon was a little apprehensive at first, sitting with the other boys but he came to the decision that they were probably going to be seeing each other a lot more.

"Hey, good morning everyone" he beams his fatal smile and hugs Jungwon and Ni-ki as if it has been forever since they last saw each other.

"Hey hyung! How come Sunghoon was at your house then?" Jungwon asked curiously whilst the other boys looked at him intently waiting for an answer. Sunghoon's face was now a suspicious shade of pink which only made the other five more curious yet Sunoo just laughed.

"You really are getting your hopes up, if you must know well there is a long story but to sum it up. Wait one sec-" he turned and whispered to Sunghoon "is it okay if i tell them what happened?" To which Sunghoon nodded. Sunoo proceeded to recall the events that had happened the previous night in which the boys were concerned for Sunoo although he seemed to be alright know and thanked Sunghoon for being there. Sunoo turned back to Sunghoon who was still as pink as before and noticed the boy looking extremely dazed but decied not to question it.

From the corner of his eye, Sunoo noticed Jungwon and Jake whispering and he wanted to know why but the answer was soon questioned when they arrived at school and rushed off the bus. The pink haired boy found it bizarre the way the cat and dog were acting up but he just said goodbye to his elder friends Heeseung and Jay and his best friend who he claims as his favourite, Riki. Oddly as he watched Sunoo give Riki the longest and most heart warming cuddle ever to be witnessed, Sunghoon felt a pang of jealousy as if he wish that were him.

Sunoo grabbed Sunghoon's arm and they walked to class where Sunoo soon understood why Jake and Jungwon were acting so weird. Instead of Sunoo's usual space being free, Jake and Jungwon were now sitting with each other leaving Sunoo to be sat next to the taller boy. Not that he minded.

The door opened and the teacher entered the room. "Good morning class. As next week exams start, I thought it would be good to have a therapeutic day." The students laughed as she said this. "It is a new programme we are trying out to see if it helps to deal with stress. Anyway, you're going to be spending the day with just you and your partner of choice and you can do a revision strategy session, followed by doing actual revision together and then we will have lunch and you can go home! It will just be for today and the next couple days will be independent revision until your exams start. Enjoy today okay and make the most of it! Now please go chose your partner and start your revision session!"

Usually Sunoo and Jungwon would have paired up straight away leaving poor old Jake to go with some admirer of his - the whole of Kim Sunoo's friend group were the heartthrobs of the school- but this time he and Jungwon were already together. A little annoyed and suspicious of the two Sunoo and Sunghoon were paired together leaving the cat and dog duo to giggle. Sunoo rolled his eyes before smiling at Sunghoon so they could start their revision. Countless boys and girls walked up to Sunoo and asked him to be their partner but the boy just kept rejecting them and stayed with Sunghoon.

"Okay Park Sunghoon, lets go to my favourite place to study!" He grabbed the elders arm and dragged him to the school garden.
