I'm still devel...
Professor Vankin worked in a Californian town. He wanted to create the perfect pet, which wouldn't be effort consuming so much to care for. However, he did not succeed - biomaterials from Earth were not suitable for the realization of his ideas. And then the professor found out that a meteorite had fallen a few miles from his town. There must definitely be something on the object of alien origin that will help Vankin to create a new creature. But everything turned out to be not so simple: the object was guarded by special forces, because the meteorite could have brought some alien viruses with it also. This did not stop the professor though. He decided to get close to the meteorite secretly and take a few pieces from it. Vankin took a big risk, but the risk paid off. After a couple of weeks of work, on October 10th, his first creation was born. The professor decided to name him Om Nom because he was very gluttonous and preferred mostly sweets.

— Excellent! — exclaimed Vankin — In a house where there are children, there is always a lot of sweets. And thanks to Om Nom, kids won't eat too much candy. However, more experiments need to be done.
Several years have passed. During this time, the professor conducted many experiments with Om Nom to understand what else he is capable of. During the experiments, it turned out that the monster is able to imitate various sounds, including human speech. Then Vankin decided to develop this skill in him and teach him three important, in his opinion, languages — English, Spanish and Russian. Over several years of observation, it was noticed that intelligence develops rapidly. He was able to learn the basics of geography (at least he knew where he lived and in what corner of his country). Soon the professor managed to create several more similar monsters, to which he gave a common name — Nommies. However, the scientist did not even expect that the government was following him all this time. When the professor took the biomaterial from the meteorite, he did not notice how he had fallen under the covert control of the CIA. And so, when news of the rapidly developing intellectual abilities of Om Nom reached them, they decided that Vankin was breeding a new intelligent race.
The year 2015.
The secret surveillance is over. The pursuit began. The professor's laboratory was in the basement of his house, and he saw the representatives of the special services through the surveillance camera. Seeing people in uniform, Vankin was very scared for his monsters. Through the back door, he went out into the backyard, got into his buggy and flew up the ramp to another street to discreetly send his creatures around California. He sent someone to the forest, someone to the wasteland, and he decided to send Om Nom to a distant relative — 11-year-old great-nephew Evan. The boy had no idea where the package came from. There were no stamps on the box, no return address. However, Evan really liked his new pet. He gave him all his love and care, they played and had fun.
So it took about six months. One day, being left alone with a huge supply of sweets, Om Nom noticed that spiders began to steal from him. Going in pursuit of them, Om Nom ran very far from home. But this did not frighten him — he wanted to catch petty thieves. During the chase, Om Nom met other monsters created by the professor: Roto, Lick, Blue, Toss, Boo, Snailbrow and Ginger. Teaming up with his new pals, Om Nom was ready to return his candies, but it turned out that the spiders had already eaten everything. The upset Om Nom, together with his friends, was going to go back home, but then a terrible thing happened. Special forces were able to find creatures. They took all the monsters for themselves, except for Om Nom himself.
