"bye, zhongli. i'll miss you." you said to the tall man.
"promise you'll come and visit?" he said.
"promise." you smiled.
you boarded beidous boat. and hugged zhongli.

"alright! let's go!!" beidou announced, and the sails went up.
you waved goodbye to zhongli, and we waved back.

the sail was a bumpy ride, you get seasick, so a lot of tears (and vomit) was shed.
when you arrived on the coast of monstadt, you got your bags and started your hike.
you got away from falcon coast, just a few hilichurls. you went through
windrise, appreciating the beauty of the large tree standing next to you.
you made it to the bridge of monstadt pretty much unscratched.

you were walking towards the gate, until someone interrupted you.

"halt! what is your business here?" the guard shouted.
"i'm a traveller from liyue. i'm visiting a friend." you explained.
"alright, you may enter. farewell traveller." he said, returning to his normal stance.

you walked through the gate into the bustling streets of the city.
you had done a bit of study on the place, and decided to go to the knights first.
you walked through the crowds and made it to the knights headquarters.

as per, the guards asked why you were here, you explained that you need to see jean.
the guard allowed you, and you went and knocked on jeans door.
"come in" you heard a womanly voice announce.
you entered the door, and you saw a red haired man sitting in the chair. the two
people turned to look at you.
"hiya, i hope i'm not disturbing anything." you said, smiling.
"hi, what can i help you with?" jean asked.
you eyed the spare chair, beside the man, and jean noticed.
"oh, go ahead, sit down." she said, kindly.
you sat down on the chair next to the man with the red hairs seat.
"what can i help you with?" the woman asked.

you explained to the woman that you were a traveler from liyue and
needed a bit of help getting started in monstadt.
"well, let's start with accommodation, have you brought money?"
"ofcourse, i brought all my savings." you said.
"well thats great. listen, for the time being, you can stay in the wind bloom hotel. i'll tell them about you. i'm sorry but i must cut this a bit short." she suggested.
"we can meet again... tomorrow, 9:15?" she said.
"ofcourse. thank you for letting me see you on no notice." you thanked her, and got up.

the entire time, you must admit you felt a pair of eyes on you.
