I wanna give a huge thanks to those who continue to support this book until the end. It goes without saying that this isn't something you'd be striving for if you're vying to be a professional writer.
The story is just all over the place. It lacks structure. Not gonna lie, I still suck at drawing hands (I highly recommend doing raptor claws in front of a mirror for reference). I suppose those are the perks of going indie. You have all the freedom to do whatever you want with the story regardless if it sells or not.
However, I will forever adore the characters and their arduous journey to learning about the world around them. They have grown a lot with me. In retrospect, this book could have been a lot better as I have learned so much throughout those years since its publication on Wattpad in March of 2021.
I thought I would resonate more with the curious and artistic Jane, but actually Lukas took the spot. Similar to him, I had to give up an old dream at a young age until I was able to find my true passion somewhere else.
Their adoptive sibling relationship stems from my own reasons to not have kids. Now, top all that with unbridled teen angst and exposing the government! It's quite a handful, don't you think?
"SYNTHETIC BLUE" has also helped me come to terms with my overall struggles and insecurities. I thought that if there was a real place where people are allowed to be themselves, then life would be a little more fun.
From what I've seen, SB was able to quickly garner a fair amount of readers over a couple of months compared to "BIOMETRICS" (which took a whole year before reaching thousands of views). I suppose it's due to how I was able to drop chapters each month.
Speaking of "BIOMETRICS," they both share the same universe. I went to incorporate the spy stuff into SB as part of an Easter egg in hopes that many people would also check out "BIOMETRICS" (though the espionage plot isn't the main focus of this book). As the chapter closes, another story begins.
P.S. I hope to do more SYNTHETIC BLUE content one day. There is so much stuff to explore about the story.
I have been inspired by the likes of Ryoko Kui (the author of Dungeon Meshi). Aside from her manga, she has also published several art books and side comics dedicated to the series. The fact she is able to draw almost everyday is fascinating!

I have actually been caught up in learning languages during my free time. How cool it is to be able to translate your own works so more people around the world can appreciate them as well!
