"Yua get on that boat right now!" The King yelled down the hallway as she rushed to get her bags out of her room, helping the maids and the butlers. "Give me ten more minutes," She yelled back.
Yua was already stressed. She had to meet the King of Seijoh and live with him for the rest of her life.
It was the first impression that mattered. She was wearing a long baby pink dress with matching shoes and a bracelet. "That boat is going to leave soon," The butler said.
Yua looked around her room, then quickly remembered something. She lifted up the entire mattress by herself grabbing old photos of her and Sawamura.
"I'm ready," She repeatedly said, panting after running down the halls. The King took one look at her and frowned. "Your hair is all over the goddamn place," He said. "Disgusting. And you still can't lose some of that weight in your legs before you meet your husband," He spat.
Yua glared at him, but didn't say anything back. She quickly pats her hair down and brushed it with her fingers. "I will see you on the dock then,"
Yua wasn't sure whether she was excited or scared to leave Fukuro. The moment she has been waiting for is only a couple of steps onto a boat.
But a part of herself didn't want to leave anymore. She wanted to stay, in Fukuro. Leaving and living her and Sawamura's dream without Sawamura.
Yua quickly stopped thinking about him. She was on a mission, to kill the King, gather a bunch of information then escape safely.
She placed her hand into her small secret pocket in her dress, making sure that the bottle of poison was still in there. Yua knew that killing the King was the very last thing she must do.
"All aboard!" The sailor yelled. Yua looked up at the cliff, where everybody was standing, and watching. Every single citizen was watching the very first person of Fukuro, leaving the Kingdom and going off somewhere else to marry a King.
"One hug?" The King asked, with a smile on his face.
"No,"
There was nothing the King could do. People and journalists were watching. Yua smirked at him and headed towards the ship.
She didn't even look back. Yua was headed straight towards the very front of the ship, where she could only see the ocean and nothing else.
Her feet felt the boat move against the small ocean waves. She was all alone at the front of the boat. Leaning over the railings. Yua closed her eyes to listen to the waves crashing for the first time in her life.
But that enjoyment lasted for a short period of time.
"Your Majesty, Princess Yua?" She heard an unfamiliar voice from behind. "Just call me Yua," She replied, slightly turning her head ago the side. The man stood a few meters away from her, maintaining a small distance.
"My name is Hajime Iwaizumi. First Lieutenant of Seijoh. It is an honor to be at your presence, Your Majesty," He bowed. Hajime wore a pristine white suit along with a white cape around him with not one, but multiple badges on it. His hands were gloved, and his shoes were pitch black with a shine to it.
Yua looked up at his face. "Um. Thanks," She took a small step away from him a bit more.
Hajime seemed a bit shaken up by her cold attitude. But that didn't stop him from talking to her. "Tooru told me to give this to you," He handed a small white velvet box to her.
She hesitantly took the box out of his hands. Yua looked up into his eyes, then down at the box, opening it to reveal a small necklace. "It's a welcoming gift from him," Hajime said. Yua closed the box, and shoved it into her small handbag.
