First Form: Snowstorm (Ichi no Kata: Fubuki)- During the battle when the user performs the form snow flows from the blade and creates a snowstorm to blind the opponent for a momentary time. This form is mainly used for stealth attacks.
Second Form: Frostbite (Ni no Kata: Shimoyake)- When performed the blade reaches below-freezing temperatures making an attack deadly to the touch.
Third Form: Avalanche (San no Kata: Nadare)- When performed the user jumps up high in the air, the higher the user jumps the more snow comes out of the blade. When the user jumps as high as they can go they shift their position downward causing an avalanche.
Fourth Form: Icicle Shower (Shi no Kata: Tsurara Shawa)- When performed long and thick icicles will appear and rain down on the opponent.
