Where am I? Not a clue because it's pitch ass black in this fucking room. I'm going to have nightmares of just dark rooms by the end of this. Honestly though if it was Lorenzo who took me I might just lose my mind, he had no right to even think about touching me let alone kidnap me who does he think he is?

I get up from the corner I was placed in and start walking around, all I'm thinking is that I don't want to stub my toe because that shit hurts so bad. Anyway I should probably focus a little bit more, I started feeling the walls to look for the door and of course, it took forever but finally, I found it.

It was unlocked.....

I opened it and was blinded by all of the light shining through. "Fuck" I yelped. It bright way too fast. My eyes start to adjust to the light so I get confident enough to fully open the door and look at my surroundings, it looked like I was in a palace. Giant staircases were leading to the floor I was on. It truly looked like somewhere a princess would live. If I wasn't just kidnapped I wouldn't mind staying here but considering the circumstances I want to get the hell out as fast as possible.

I start exploring trying to find a way out or at least a way to defend myself against whoever has kidnapped me. I see a guard a sleeping guard. What a moron if he was hired by my family he would be killed for his carelessness. I go and grab his gun off of the table next to him, holding my breath making sure not to wake him up. Once I have the gun in my hand I slowly start to walk away.

Now what do I do? C'mon Isa, you're an assassin you are smart and have a strategy so use your brain and get the fuck out of this place. I started looking for an exit, turning corners hoping that there was a door but it was almost always a dead end. I finally made it into what I think is the main room where a ton of guards were standing at posts, none of them were aware of my presence yet. Slowly I took them out one by one I'm sure more will be here soon considering I didn't have a silencer on this gun so it was loud as fuck alarming everyone in the whole house.

I see a door and I start to run. When all of a sudden I'm grabbed by familiar hands, Lorenzo. Now this can't be good considering I just killed a lot of his guards and I was trying to escape. However, he was being so gentle not even gripping me roughly.

Lorenzo

She is in danger and she has no idea, when I saw her I recognized her. We have a list of the most endangered people somewhat like how the police have a most wanted. We try to protect these people to the best of our abilities, when I saw her I knew I needed to protect her she just seemed so sweet and innocent but I guess she was a lot more trouble than I was aware of.

As soon as I had my men get her I already had a background check in progress because if you come into my home I'm going to know more about you than you think I do. I was shocked to see who her family was and that she was an assassin. I guess I was oblivious to the fact that her family is one of my biggest enemies. They always try to attack my shipments and kill my men. Had I known this before I had taken her I probably would have had second thoughts because I didn't want to start a war but I wanted to meet her, her father always tried to keep her out of the mafia business. That's why I had no clue who she was even with her name.

I felt bad leaving her in the darkroom but I knew she was smart enough to get out, she was an assassin after all. I would be shocked if she couldn't get out considering the door was unlocked. I made it very easy for her, she is not trapped in that room but she might need to stay here for a while considering the Russians are coming after her and they do not show any mercy.

I decide to go ahead and go find Leo, he is my 8-month-old Doberman puppy. He is still training to be in the force with us so that he can help us when we have to go on missions. Also, I just like having the extra company.

And then all of a sudden I heard gunshots!

I run down the stairs Leo by my side. I see at least 12 of my men dead in the flood bleeding out, this can only be one person doing. To be more exact one female doing. I start running in the direction of where I know she would go, as I approach the front door there she is in all of her glory fighting more of my guards. I may need to update their training if they can't kill one intruder. I decide enough is enough and I go run up behind her grabbing her waist from behind making sure she can't get out of my grip. Now I need to get her to trust me, what a great second meeting. Here we go.

All of a sudden I hear his voice. "Isa I'm not going to hurt you but you can't leave and you need to listen to me!" He spoke so calmly I almost didn't think it was him! His calming voice made me feel something that I didn't understand, it scared me considering he just kidnapped me and put me in a blackout room for god knows how long.

He turns me around while keeping me in his hold. "Isa you in danger I'm just trying to help you. Please let me help you, Isa." He tells me. I just stare at him not knowing what to say to him. I'm just speechless about this whole situation. Why does he care if I get hurt? 

Just a little cliffhanger but another chapter will be out soon. I have been consistent so far so hopefully I will keep it up, I have realized I enjoy writing about these characters just as much as I love reading so hopefully more books will be out soon! I already feel very connected to these characters and can't wait for you to see their future. Hope all is well stay safe wherever you are!!!
