Pillowtalk

"Laur, are you here?" Michael shouts walking through the front door.
"In my room" she shouts back. Michael walked in her room only to find her in her bed, crying. Mike looked at the girl and she patted the spot next to her, gesturing for him to join her. He crawled in the bed and she laid her head on his chest, him playing with her hair.
"Are you okay?" He asked her, she nodded.
"I'm better now that you're here." She said, looking up at him and smiling. After a few moments, Laur spoke again.
"Can you stay tonight?" She asked.
"Yeah, of course. Luke is staying at mine so I was gonna ask if I could stay anyway." Michael said and let out a chuckle.
"Hey Mike" Laur spoke and he hummed in response. "You're so beautiful." She said, smiling up at him.
He kissed the top of her head and smiled, "You're the most beautiful girl in the world." He said.
A comfortable silence fell, with both Michael and Laur thinking about the events of the evening and about what it meant. Michael was the first to break the silence.
"Listen, you don't have to tell me. But if you want to, Uhm, what did Luke say to you?" Mikey quietly asked as to not disrupt the peaceful atmosphere.
Laur shifted uncomfortably. "He was just being a dick. It's not his fault, he was just trying to protect his friends." Laur sighed, snuggling closer to Mikey.
"What did he say to you, Laur." Michael asked again.
"I"m not going to ruin your friendship. He was obviously drunk out of his mind. I'll talk to him when we are both sober." Laur said, trying to end this topic of conversation. She figured that nothing positive would come out of discussing Luke's exact words.
"Fine." Michael said, " Calum had to carry Shay away from Luke." He stated, figuring that Laur would get some enjoyment over the drama that unfolded after she left.
Laur set up straight. "He did what? Why? What did she try to do?" She responded.
Michael chuckled. "Apparently, she tried to smack him. Cal saw it coming though and stopped her. But I gotta be honest, seeing Shay, seething might I add, carried by Calum like a ragdoll, was hilarious."
Laur burst out laughing, "You should've taken a picture! I could've used that for blackmail!" She said once she finally calmed down.
"That's not even the best thing that happened, to be honest." Mikey calmly said, trying to make Laur curious.
"Stop. Tell me. You can't tease me like that!" She said whilst lightly hitting his chest.
"Nia, Ashtons girl, full on slapped Luke across the face. Like a good backhander. His face was still red when I saw him."
Laurs eyes widened in shock. "She did not. WHAT?!" She screamed falling back on the bed in disbelief. Michael leaned over her and brushed her hair out of her face.
"She so did. I think you just gained another best friend." He said softly whilst moving another strand of hair out of her face.
Laur chuckled. "Yeah, I think I did." She responded before pulling Mikey back down
next to her and laying her head on his chest. Michael rested his chin on her head and pulled her closer.
"So, a movie ?" Michael asked, but when he turned to look at Laur, she had already fallen asleep.
