"Zoro, can you get your ass over here and help me clean the deck?"

*no response*

"It's your turn, you know! You can lift weights later!!" You yelled frustratingly.

*no response*

You walk to the back of the boat, and find him sitting on the ledge, meditating with his legs crossed. Both his pinky fingers up, each balancing a barbell of what seems to be a hundred tons.

"ZORO!"

He peaks through one eye, sees your irritated expression, and sighs. "Fine, I'll do it later." With his meditation now ruined, he jumps off the ledge and places his barbells aside. You sense frustration and a small dose of tension between you and him. You hand him a towel as he passes by. He reeks of sweat, steel and the ocean. Nonetheless, you found it quite addicting.

He continues walking away, but stops to turn around. "Meet me here again after dinner, we're going to train."

His footsteps fade, and as much as you wanted to say no, it's too good of an opportunity to pass by. Out of all the strawhats, Zoro was the last to trust you and the only one you barely talked to. He's either always taking naps, getting lost, or training. I mean yeah, you'd get a glimpse of him training every now and then, relishing the way his muscles contracted and his sweat dripping down his abs—

You found yourself staring into the ocean, and you snapped out of your trance when you heard a loud crash in the background.

"You wanna go moss head?"

"I can beat your ass any day, shitty cook."

It's not surprising seeing Zoro and Sanji fight, if anything, they remind you of siblings with how they act. Like any other day, you break their fight.

You walk to where the commotion is and call out Sanji's name asking him to make (f/d). This always worked.

"Of course, anything for you Y/N!" He twirls into the kitchen with heart eyes, and a little bit of blood running down his nose.

At the corner of your eye, you feel Zoro glaring at you. He clicks his tongue and proceeds to walk back to the guys cabin.

-Dinner Time-

Everyone is sat around the table, it's lively, as usual— Luffy trying to steal food from Usopp, Chopper, and Nami. Robin and Franky having their usual one-on-one talks. Brook enjoying his cup of tea, and Sanji humming to a melody as he washes the plates.

As you continued watching the crew, you made eye contact with a certain patch of grass. A split second, you both made eye contact, but you immediately looked away. You felt his stare burning through the back of your head. The uneasiness sank in and you decided to excuse yourself.

You suddenly got up and Nami noticed. Before taking a step, she holds your wrist, "Hey, everything okay?"

"Yeah, I'm just going to get some fresh air," and flashed her a small smile. She nods and let's go.

You step out of the kitchen and walk to the back of the ship where Zoro said you'd train together.

You waited for what seemed like an eternity, but that thought was pushed out your mind when you hear a familiar voice say, "Nami told me to check up on you, but I was about to leave the kitchen anyways."

All that came out of your mouth was an 'oh.'

"Let's start sparring." He demanded. "The last time we sparred was the day you joined this crew."
