It was a normal day for Diluc except today he wanted to be a bartender at Angels share so he did. After a long afternoon of serving customers night began to dawn and he realised the dreaded Kaeya was here. "One dandelion wine"he ordered so Diluc did as he asked again and again and again and again and again until he'd had at least 7 drinks."you've had enough for today" Diluc stated in a worried tone Kaeya slumped down into the barstool "another one pleasee" he asked "no" Kaeya grabbed a drink himself and handed Diluc some money "get out now Kaeya " so it was time to leave. Kaeya reached his home but then decided on doing some work. He wanted the drinks to numb him like a pain killer but they slowly stopped working . As he lay down into his bed he thought of an idea he knew how to make everything better he tiptoed downstairs and grabbed a sword that hung on the wall and slit his arm he scattered his blood around the house part of him still wanting to live. Using the writing skills his father had once taught him he wrote a note in an abyss mage language "he is dead he loves you all very much and he is sorry for this". He slipped on his clothes and ran as far as he could outside the mondstadt gates through Windrise until he settled by a cliff edge. Looking up at the stars he finally felt free Diluc would be happy so many people hated him it was like bliss to finally disappear he yanked off the eyepatch on his face to reveal a star shaped iris in his eye that had a sort of root to the corner of his eye.It was probably midnight now so it would be a good idea to get some rest.As Kaeya slept on the cliff edge Jean knocked on his door to hand some assignments to him upon the fact he wouldn't open the door she used the spare key she had and walked in. Only to see blood scattered on the floor up to his room, she was horrified what could've happened but began walking up the stairs to his room she gently opened the door (ddlc quote :) ) to see blood all over his bed and pillows and a note written in a language she couldn't understand she broke down "what was happening to Kaeya? Was he alive? " after composing herself and walked back to the knights of favonious headquarters with the note.She walked up the grand looking stairs inside the headquarters and reached her room she opened the door to see Lisa in her night gown "Darling i told you not to overwork yourself what have you been doing this late" she scanned Jeans body and her eyes fixated on the note "what is that?" She asked. Jean began to relay the events of the blood and note "this is the language of an abyss mage I might be able to decipher it" "But for now we should get some rest we will sort everything out tomorrow " Lisa kissed Jean on the cheek and slid into bed maybe tomorrow would hold out a lot better.
