I didn't think that Forks was a bad place. Sure, it was small with a population of 3,120 people.

"You know, I'm starting to think that you came with me because you didn't want to be alone with mom all the time." I said as Bella and I walked through the airport with our luggage's.

"Mom isn't that bad." Bella defended Mom.

"No. But she hovers, and we both hate that." I point out as I look around for dad.

I smiled when I saw dad. I walk faster to him so I can hug him.

"There's my sassy Kat." Dad said once I reached him, he grinned as I wrapped my arms around him. "I miss you, Kat." Dad said, hugging me tightly as he kissed my forehead.

"I miss you too, Daddy." I mumble into his neck before I pull away.

"Hey, Bells." Dad smiled at her, pulling her into a hug few seconds before letting her go. Charlie, who is dad and Bella relationship is nothing like him and mine. Seeing as I always stay for the summer every year. Unlike Bella, who came for only three weeks out of the year on the summer.

"Let's get you girls home so you can eat settled in. You have school tomorrow." Dad said, taking one of my bags and Bella's before walking out of the airport.

"Is this the only car you have?" I asked dad as we walked over to his police cruiser as he put Bella and my stuff up.

"If you have a problem with it the you can walk." Dad said, smiling at me.

"I would, but then who would provide the stimulating conversation?" I sass back with a sweet smile before looking at Bella. "I still call shotgun." I said before getting into the passenger seat.

"You have not changed one bit." Dad told me as he gets in the car and so do Bella.

"Is their a subway here?" I wonder.

Dad shakes his head. "No subway here."

"Bloody hell! You're the chief of police can't you do something about that?" I asked serious.

"Oh my god, Kat." Bella muttered from the backseat.

"Oh yeah, let me just get the government or the president on the phone real quick." Dad sass.

I click my tongue before rolling my eyes.

"You're hair longer." Dad said, looking in the mirror to see Bella.

"I cut it since the last time I saw you." Bella said, touching her hair.

"Oh, it grew out again." Dad said awkward.

"I can literally feel the awkwardness between you two." I said.

"How do you manage to always find away to have some sass come back?" Bella asks, curious.

"How do you manage to make almost every situation awkward?" I shot back curious.

"This is going to be so much fun." Dad sighed as Bella and I banned.

We pull up to the house. We all get out as dad carries our bags, and we walk into the house.

"I've cleared some shelves off you guys' bathroom." Charlie told us mainly Bella as we reach the staircase.

"Oh, right. We share a bathroom." Bella said as she walked into her room, which was across from mine.

"Because that isn't gonna be a pain in the ass in the morning." I groan as I walk into my bedroom.

I walked into Bella room after I finished unpacking. "Hi, look, it's Billy, Jacob, Paul, and Leah." I shouted with a smile.

"Who?" Bella questioned and glanced out the window to see everyone outside.

I shook my head at Bella in disbelief. "Let's just go outside." I chuckled out before grabbing her hand, and then we walked downstairs as I could hear their conversation outside.

"Girls, you remember Billy Black?" Dad questioned as he saw us when we stepped out the door.

"Yes!" I smiled at Billy. "How are you?"

"Good, Katherine." Billy smiled as he wheeled closer to us. "Glad you both are finally here. Charlie hasn't shut up about it since the two of you told you were coming." Billy said.

"Keep exaggerates, I wheel you down the hill." Dad said.

"Right after I ram you in the ankles." Billy rolls at Dad, who dodges.

"I'm Jacob. We made mud pies together when we were little." He awkwardly said stepped towards Bella and I.

"Yeah.... I think I remember.... Are their always like this?" Bella motions to our dads.

"Pauly, Lee!" I shout, running faster downstairs.

"Kitty Kat!" Paul and Leah hug me tightly as I ran to them both. I laugh as they both kiss my cheek.

"So what do you think of your homecoming gift?" Dad pats a trunk.

"No way. This truck is for us?" Bella asks, smiling.

"Just brought it off of Billy here." Dad tells Bella.

"Me, Paul and Leah, we rebuilt the engine and....." Jacob tells Bella, who smiles up him.

"It's perfect!" Bella and I beam. Bella rushes to the trunk, and Jacob joins her eagerly.

"Okay. So you gotta double pump the clutch when you shift, but..... Jacob hands Bella the keys as she climbs in.

"Maybe I can give you a ride to school." Bella offers.

"I go to school on the reservation." Jacob says.

"To bad. Would've been nice to know at least one person...." Bella trail off.

I clear my throat loudly. "What am I chop liver!"

"That isn't my sister." Bella adds.

Dad moves to before kissing my head. "I didn't forget about you." Dad said, handing me a journal and camera."

"Oh my god! Thanks, Daddy." I smile, kissing his cheek.

"Anytime. I know how much you love writing and taking pictures." Dad whisper to me.
