A Fateful Encounter!

Vanessa POV

I woke up after having some good rest. At first I thought sleeping in a cave wouldn't be a good experience but turns out it was pretty bearable because of the leaf beds we made last night.

I looked around the cave, Blue and Kai were still sleeping in. Despite sleeping here, they looked comfortable in the leaf beds.

I slowly picked myself up from the bed and carefully padded towards the entrance of the cave, trying to avoid waking the two sleeping Pokémon.

I stepped outside for a moment, the sun rays shined upon me and through the forest, showing me what nature has in store.

It was warm, yet cool, the morning dews that covers the grass and hydrates the plants around us, a perfect day to pick up travelling again.

We traveled a decent amount, so we shouldn't be too far off from the village.

I walked back inside the cave and now towards the bowl to get something to eat, I grabbed an apple and started to dig in.

After I ate I went back to the leaf bed and lay down till the others woke up.

Some time flew by and my ears started to twitch from the sounds that were emitting inside the cave.

They were starting to wake up, the blue fox like Pokémon raised it's head up and yawned.

"Good morning Blue, did you rest well?" I asked.

He turned towards me and squinted, it took him a bit to answer back.

"Oh... good morning Vanessa and surprisingly yes, I slept well." Blue finally answered.

He stood up and stretched before walking to the bowl and got himself an apple. He then padded to the entrance, sat down and started eating.

Another yawn could be heard to my left, Kai looked around before he saw me and waved. I waved back in response, "Good morning Kai, would you like some Berries?" I asked him.

Kai nodded to my question, resulting me to get some berries from the bowl for him to eat, I grabbed two oran berries, a razz berry and brought it to him.

"Here you go Kai, eat up!" I said to him.

I walked towards the entrance where Blue was and sat beside him.

Blue was already done with the apple he had, "How far do you think the village might be?" Blue questioned.

I thought for a moment, "Probably around an hour or so, we shouldn't be too far from it now." I answered.

"Cool, I'm just really hoping I can find some clues or at least something that would help me figure out why I'm here." Blue said aloud.

"I'm sure we'll find something, if we don't then you'd be stuck here forever." I joked.

Blue looked at me, "I guess so honestly... I can go either way, but it would be better if I go back to the life I'm already used.. y'know?" Blue replied.

I nodded in agreement, "We should get moving then, we have all the time in the world, but if we slack then we won't get anywhere with this." I told him.

"Agreed, Kai you ready?" Blue asked Kai; looking back at him.

Kai nodded in reply, he got up from the leaf bed and stretched before walking towards us.

We then got ready for some more travelling.

As we travelled I wanted to know Blue some more, so "Hey Blue, if you don't mind can I ask some more questions about you?" I asked first to not be rude.
