I was in the kitchen making some cupcakes when the doorbell rang.

"It's open!" I yelled as I stirred the batter.

Chris walked into the kitchen and waved.

Oh god, stay cool. Stay cool.

"Hey. I was wondering if we could borrow some flour." He said, his eyes glued to the bag of flour I had in the counter.

"Oh yeah." I let out a sigh of relief. Good, all he needed was flour.

"And I also wanted to talk to you about something." He said, as he sat down at our kitchen counter.

Oh shit. "Uh sure. What's up?"

"Well, you're a girl, so, how would you like to be proposed to?" Chris kept his eyes glued to the flour.

I nearly dropped the bowl of cupcake batter onto the floor when I heard the word propose.

"Propose? Why?"

"Well... My girlfriend and I have been dating for awhile and I think it might be time. So I just wanted to know how I should propose to her. And we needed the flour because my mom wants pancakes again." He said as he smiled his adorable dorky grin.

Every time he smiles I keep falling for him more and more.

I don't wike it.

*A/N- oh my gosh, who understood that reference^!??*

"Aww, how... Cute!" I tried to say as excited as possible.

"Yeah, her name is Mandy. I was thinking about bringing her to the spot we always eat lunch at in the park, and propose there."

"Yeah, that would be perfect." I forced a fake smile.

"Okay, thanks! You're the best!" Chris smiled and he took the flour from me as I handed it to him.

"Yeah, no problem..."

That night all I could think of is Chris bringing Mandy to their favorite spot, and just eating lunch.

It seemed so special. Such a special memory to share.

A memory that I wanted to share with him.
