Fight or Flight

"Calum, leave her alone. She's asleep." Shay hissed at the boy who was walking towards Laur's room.

"Nope, she's waking up and we're talking about this." Calum said whilst opening the door and turning the lights on. Michael groaned at the bright lights.

"What the fuck Calum." He said, pulling the blanket over his face.

"Laur wake the fuck up." Cal yelled.

"Calum get the fuck out of my room" She seethed back.

Calum responded by pulling the blanket off her bed, Laur pouted in response.

"What do you want, dude?" Mike asked, clearly irritated with the boy.

"You have five minutes to come to the living room." Calum said before walking out of the room, not bothering to finish his threat.

"He's been enraged all night, I really would just get up." Shay said, before walking after Calum.

Laur turned to look at Mike, "What a great way to start the morning." She said, pulling him out of the bed. Michael made a half-hearted attempt to get Laur back in bed.

"He said we have 5 minutes, which means we still have time to cuddle." Michael said, whining.

Laur chuckled at him. "Or if we go now, this all will be over sooner, which means we can go back to bed sooner." she retorted.

"Ugh fine." Michael sighed, getting up.

"How good of you to finally join us." Calum said as soon as the pair walked into the living room.

"Oh shove it Cal" Michael said, rolling his eyes and sitting down.

"Could I atleast get some caffeine in me before we get into this?" Laur murmured whilst joining Michael on the couch.

"Nope." Cal responded, taking a sip from his coffee.

"Why were we called to come in here, it's 8 in the fucking morning." Laur said getting an attitude with the man sitting across from her.

"Because we're gonna talk about last night." Cal replied in the same tone.

"I'm not doing this." Laur said getting up and walking out.

"Get your ass back in here, Laur." Cal screamed after her.

"Fuck off Calum." She yelled back from across the house.

"Fine, she wants to act like this then we can continue this in her room." Cal said getting up.

"Cal, calm the fuck down. Yelling at Laur isn't gonna do shit." Shay said whilst stepping in front of him.

"It's making me feel better, so it's definitely doing something." Cal replied.

"You're a fucking jackass." Michael said, walking back to Laurs room.

"You're taking your anger out on the wrong person, Cal." Shay said to him.

"I don't give a shit, she's gonna talk about it whether she likes it or not. She doesn't have to talk about it with everyone but she WILL tell me what happened. It's really not up to her." he sneered in response, walking past Shay into Laurs bedroom.

"Cal I-" Laur started before being cut off.

"Nope, we're talking about it. We can talk about it here or alone but we are talking about it." Cal said, giving her a stern look. Laur nodded, standing up and walking towards the door.

"We'll be back." She said looking at Mike, giving him a sad smile.

"Shay, get out." Calum says as soon as they re-enter the living room.
