Joana's POV
The audition went by smoothly. I did notice that Jace had been staring at me. Oh, I wish I could see him everyday like I used to. I miss him making fun jokes, making "code names" for me and my friends, everything. I miss him. A lot.
THE NEXT DAY
I was downstairs eating my breakfast. All of the sudden my phone rang. I answer. "Hello?" "Hi! Is this Joana Johnson?" "Yes. Why?" "This is Dan Schneider. I'm calling to tell you that you got the part in Henry Danger! You'll be playing Emaley. Congratulations! We need you on set at at 1:30 today. Got it?" "Omgeeeeaaahh!! Thank you soooooo much! I'll be there!" "Okay great! See you then! Bye!" "Bye!" We hang up. I can't help but scream while jumping up and down. I'm an only child so there's no one to say "Stop it!" Or "Shut upaaah!" And "Cut it out Brat!" I'm glad about that. My mom comes in wearing her pajamas with a bad case of bed head. "Goooooooood morning!" I say in a cheery voice. "G'mornin'. What are you so excited about doll?" My mom calls me "doll" when she's happy, or tired and trying to sound happy. "Oh nothing much. Dan called about the part." I say in a sad voice trying to trick her. "Oh I'm so sorry honey." she says while hugging me. I let out a sigh. "And......" I say. "And what sweety?" She asks. "I.........GOT THE PART!!!" I say. "That's terrific honey! I'm so happy for you! You really had me worried there!" She says letting out a laugh. My parents are divorced so I don't see my dad much. I went upstairs and call Jace. "Hello?" He says sleepily. "Hey blondie." That's our code name for him. "Johnson? What are you doing at this time? It's 11:08!" He says. "I just wanted to tell you that this morning I ate cereal a banana drank some milk I watched tv (etc.) and Dan called and I got the part." "Reeeaaaallyyyy??? Johnson you woke me up at like 11 and you tell me what you did this-WAIT WHAT???? OH MY FREAKIN GOSH!! Congrats!!" He says. "Thanks!" I say. "What time does he want us on set?" He asks. "Uuummmmm, 1:30." I say. "Oh crap, I gotta get ready. Bye Johnson!" "Bye blondie!" We hang up. This has GOT to be THE BEST day of MY LIFE.
