Cara steps onto the wet pavement, hands gripping an oversized heavy suitcase as she peers out into the crowd of various cars in an attempt to find her aunt, but after a few long minutes of no success, she then decides to move along the walkway to continue her search. However, the search soon begins to turn futile when more time begins to pass without any success. Fianlly, the realization dawns on her that her aunt is possibly not here as she had previously indicated. With a long hard sigh, Cara then decides is best to look for food instead as she can no longer ignore her growling stomach. As she sits watching the sunset, Cara hungrily devours a bag of chips and a cheesy hotdog. After taking the final bite she pulls out her phone and tries calling her aunt but it goes straight to voicemail. She groans in frustration as she types a message asking "Where are you?" before shoving the device into the side of her jeans. And If things couldn't get any worse, as if right on cue it begins to rain. At first, it starts as a drizzle before an all-out downpour begins, forcing her to drag her overweight suitcase off the walkway and move up against the glass windows. However, even this proves to be futile as her shoes begin to get sodded with water. She stands like this for sometime before her phone begins ringing and she pulls it from her waist to see that it's her aunt,
"Hi, are you here?" Cara says loudly over the pouring rain,
"No," Helen says, "But I asked my friend to pick you up so he should be there at any minute."
Cara raises her brow, "Your friend?"
"Yes, my friend, James. I gave him your number so expect a call soon."
Cara says nothing,
"Sorry I couldn't make it." Helen says softly, "But don't worry I'll make it up to you. See you, okay?"
"OKay." Cara hangs up and sighs, staring at her phone until the screen turns black.
Cara shakes her head and smiles a little, unsurprised that her aunt would make friends so quickly when she's only been here for four and a half months. Her phone lights up and she sees a message from Helen which is an image of her and a tall man who she suspects is James. She zooms in and notices that he has his hand perfectly fixated around her small waist while her head is resting on his chest. Helen is smiling. Cara zooms in even more and begins memoring his facial features, immediately noticing that he has very kind eyes with thick well-manicured eyebrows that frame his handsome face.
Her attention is soon shifted elsewhere as her phone begins to ring and she soon notices approaching headlights.
"Hello." She answers,
"Are you in a green top?" the voice on the other end asks,
The car stops in front of her and the back door swings open.
"Get in." She hears from the inside, but she refuses to move.
The front window winds down, and a dark-skinned male who looks like the man hugging her aunt gives her a small wave and smiles, "It's James. Helen sent me."
His eyes dart to her suitcase but before she can reach it he is already out of the car and is making his way to her where he takes the suitcase placing it into the trunk. "Well, let's go then."
Cara finally moves to the car and immediately sends her aunt a message.
Helen replies, "There's a green skull hanging from the mirror."
Cara looks up and notices the green skull and she finally relaxes a bit.
"Thank you."
"No problem," he says as the car enters onto the highway.
