Chapter 65

FINAL CHAPTER

I wake, activate with the alarm I set up last night. Clothes and shoes were thrown everywhere, but my bags were ready.

I got out of bed and took a shower. I put on a dress with floral print and boots. I wear a jacket and then brush my hair.

I had my passport, flight ticket, money, and everything well packed.

I take my suitcases and a bag and I go down the stairs. Mom waited for me today.

Mom: Good morning daughter. Ready to travel?

_______: I think so.

Mom: I prepared a sandwich and I packed some oreos in case you get hungry on the plane.

_______ Thank you.

Mom: Can we go? You will not eat something before we leave?

________: No, I'm not hungry.

Mom: Okay, then get out and take your stuff to the car.

And I did. I got my suitcases in the trunk of the car and then I get in the car. A few seconds after mom mades the same action.

Mama: Ready to reacquaint yourself with your sister? - And we were on our way.

Mom: She will be surprised to see how big and beautiful you are. And how you've changed.

The last time I remember seeing my sister was at Christmas two or three years ago. I did not know much about her life now, because I'm just not interested. I did not even know she lived in Australia. Mom told me when I said I wanted to travel.

After twenty minutes the car arrived at the airport.

Mama: Goodbye ______. I hope you behave and you enjoy. Call me occasionally. Do not forget what you are allergic to. I love you. Beware. Do not go doing anything wrong. Have fun. I'll miss you. Do not forget ..- and I interrupted her.

_______ Yes mom, I understand. I'll also miss you and call you every day. Bye.

And then I get off the car. I went to the trunk and take my suitcases. I said goodbye to mom through the window and then started dragging my bags.

I went to the check box and then I sat in the waiting area. Still it was not time to board the plane.

I suddenly remembered the last time I was here, dismissing Ashton, Luke, Michael and Calum. As I wept, and when they began to cry, and he hugged and everything. But within hours perhaps I'll be seeing them. They are not expecting me there. I want them to be surprised.

Australia ready to go? Although I'd like it or not that's what I'll do. What if I had not discussed with Nathan? We would be on a beach right now? Or maybe in France? Or lying on the couch watching a movie? I think anything better than what I am doing.

I turn my head and see the lads at a distance away from me. I say goodbye with my hand that was unoccupied (without carrying my suitcase). And all perform the same synchronized action. All with sad faces.

I was not supposed to be taking a plane to go to another nation when I could be sharing with them.

Turn my head again to re-focus my eyes on where the door of the plane was.

No longer I wanted to turn my head again. The tears are about to escape. But I put my head held high.

Nathan didn't even come to say goodbye. That leaves a lot to say.He no longer cares about me.

If only he had not been angry with me. Maybe things wouln't be this way.
