Felicity's pov.
"Why does Ken acted like that?" I asked Rhys. He's driving me to his condo. He said that he used it when he was in college and haven't use it since he graduated.
I smile suddenly for a thought that was circling in my mind. He's older than me.
I looked at Rhys who's acting seriously in driving the car. He maybe thinking of many things.
I shouldn't ask for more information if he's not comfortable sharing it to me just like how he's not asking why I suddenly called him and asking for a place to stay even if he knew that my family is rich.
But isn't too ironic that I don't even know his last name? All I know is that his name is Rhys and he has three friends, one named Ken and for the others, I don't know. From his family, all I know is his cousin named Rick.
"Can I ask you something?" Saying those words are kinda hard for me.
He swiftly looked at me then diverted it again on the road. "What do you want to know?"
"What is your family name?" I swallowed after delivering the words.
I slowly moved my head to see his reaction. He smirked! What the hell! Why am I acting like a scared cat in front of him? I didn't do anything wrong! I'm just asking and that's valid! We'll gonna have a child together soon!
"Martin."
Martin? Is it the well-known Martin Family? The Family of lawyers? The family who owned one of the best and most well known Law Firm?! And not just that, but they also own companies?! But the heck does his cousin working as on owner of a small pub?!
"Rhys Martin?" I whispered his name. I couldn't help but to smile as I watch how a handsome smile form on his face.
"I won't get mad if you ask me anything it's just that I can't answer all of your question... but I promise to answer all the possible and things I'm comfortable." He said. I blinked my eyes three times before putting my hand on my chest.
What is the problem of this guy? Why is he making me feel a sweet flame burning on my chest?
"What is your hated subject in high school?" His forehead creased because of my random question. Slowly he smiled, maybe he thinks I'm ridiculous.
"History."
"Oh, it's like you can answer my questions about mathematics but you'll divert other things when I start to question about history." I said making a small comparison to his terms.
We both laugh after that. Laughs that seemed to be so free.
"Won't you ask me anything?" I asked shortly after making the warm feeling disappear.
"I don't have any question though."
My lips parted. I feel like my heart was stabbed. It was the reality. Right. We are not in some kind of relationship. I don't need to tell him anything about secrets or any more personal matters.
For him, he don't need to know anything about me but I-, for me, I want to know everything...
"Can I have your number?" He looked at me again then diverted it on the road. "So I can call you in case of emergency."
"Yeah sure." He said before saying his phone number out-loud.
"Here." I looked up to Rhys giving me a cup of hot chocolate. I'm siting at the sofa here on his condo unit.
"Your condo unit is much more cleaner and organize than I thought." I said and giggled.
I took a sip on the hot chocolate that Rhys gave me. God! This hot chocolate taste heaven! "This taste good."
