Episode 32: Back to You

[Time skipped]

Chaeyoung is finally back to school and work after the rain and stress she faced. She is not in a good condition but at least she has tried to move on with life. Thanks to her granny's insurance, the money is enough for Chaeyoung to carry on with her life although she is not glad about the money at all.

[At school cafeterian]

The 4 friends are having their coffee and doing their assignments with their laptops as usual. But, one of them seems to distract...

"Yah Baek, you don't seem yourself! What makes you so silent?" Junmyeon asks at Baekhyun seriously and makes the 2 girls look at Baekhyun too

"It's just... something... Nothing..." Baekhyun shakes his head

"C'mon! Tell us now... you seem to distract lately... You know that we are always here for you, right?" Jisoo adds

"The thing is that..." Baekhyun starts telling the story...

[Flashback]

Baekhyun is still doing his freelance job in his apartment alone. He does some freelance design jobs to earn and he earns quite well from these freelance jobs.

*Knock knock*

Baekhyun was surprised because someone knocked at his door at 2:00 AM. He thinks to himself that it is Sehun because when Sehun is drunk, he is afraid to go home and always crashes at his place instead. He goes to open his door when the second knock takes place... he expects Sehun... but it was someone else... someone is petit with large luggage... and it is a FEMALE! Baekhyun is stunned!

"Baek... Baekhyun. It's me." the girl finally says her first word to him. Baekhyun is still stunned to speak... "Mianhae, Baek... but can I come in?" she looks in his eyes and Baekhyun still cannot speak but nods to her request and makes way for her to come in. She goes in with her luggage and makes herself sit on the couch. Baekhyun closes the door and goes to sit beside her. They are still silent sitting side by side...

"Long time no see, Baek... Mianhae... I bother you this late." she breaks the silent

"It's okay... I haven't gone to bed anyway." He shakes his head softly with the reply... "But what brought you here?" he asks as looks at her luggage... he knows something is not right. She starts sobbing softly

"I... I signed the divorce paper... Just now..." her tear dropped... "I don't know where else to go." he is still silent looking at her... "Baek! I never loved him... I always love you!" She cries harder... he hugs her to comfort her... She cried even more... "You know that, right?"

"I know... But you know that your father wouldn't approve of this... of me, right?" She cried more and more as Baekhyun mentioned her father

"I don't wanna go back home, Baekhyun!" she hugs him tighter and cries

[Back to present day]

"So you and Taeyeon Noona are back together?" Junmyeon asks

"To be honest, I'm not sure about our relationship right now yet. I just let her stay with me until she calms down and we can discuss more her main problem." Baekhyun replies softly

"Do you still have a feeling for her?" Chaeyoung asks... Baekhyun sighs and hesitates...

"Hmm... to be honest... I... I am still... in love with her..." he takes a deep breath... "I lied to you guys that I moved on. But... deep down... she is always here." he points to his heart

"Follow your heart, Chingu! If you ever need us, we are always here for you." Jisoo put her hand on Baekhyun's shoulder and smile. The 4 of them look at each other and smile.
