Chapter 16: Meet The Family

Grimace had been dreading this for years. His family wanted the two to come over to visit. Grimace's parents never approved of the two being together. Not because he was gay, because Morbius wasn't purple. They were a strict purple-only family. Once Grimace's parents found out of his boyfriend Morbius they kicked him out and told him they never wanted to see him again. "Why do my parents all of a sudden want me in their life again", Grimace though to himself. Grimace was so lost in thought that he lost the Fortnite game him and Morbius were playing. "Honey are you okay, your normally so good at clutching 1 v 2's", Morbius said to his partner while rubbing his furry back.

"Yeah I'm sorry my love I just... need to process some things", Grimace said as he got up and went to their bedroom. "Grimace please tell me what's wrong. I can't help if you don't tell me", Morbius said as he followed Grimace to the bedroom and sat next to him. "It's my parents... they want us to visit them tommorow", Grimace said to Morbius. "What? I thought they hated you? What's with the sudden change of heart", Morbius asked Grimace. "I wish I knew Morbius... but I don't know if we should go. I don't want them to treat you like nothing again", Grimace said with tears in his eyes. "Sweetheart... I know your worried but maybe they don't want their son to hate then for the rest of their lives. I think we should give it a try", Morbius said to Grimace while wiping away his tears. "O-Okay. We'll go. Thank you honey", Grimace said to Morbius as he hugged him tight.

The next day Morbius put of his finest purple outfit to hopefully impress Grimace's parents. Once they were ready the two hopped in their car and drove to Grimace's childhood home. After a 20 minute drive they had finally arrived. Grimace's parents house was all purple of course. They even drive a purple car and painted their lawn purple. Grimace and Morbius got out of their car and slowly walked up to the front door. Grimace hesitantly knocked on the door as his mother Ursula opened the door. "Count look who finally arrived, it's Grimace", Ursula shouted for her husband as she gave Grimace a big hug. "Ahh son it is so great to see you ah ah ah", The Count said as he joined in on the hug. "Hi mom, hi dad, it's great to see you guys too", Grimace said to his parents. "Oh and I see you brought your boyfriend too... great", Ursula said as she shook Morbius's hand and led the two inside. "I'm actually his husband now", Morbius said to Grimace's parents, pointing at his red and black wedding band. "Oh I see, well isn't that great for you two", Ursula said with disapproval.

"Well well well, if it isn't my little bro", said Thanos as he walked out of the kitchen to greet his brother. "Hi Thanos, how are you", Grimace said while rolling his eyes. "I'm great actually, I'm currently the biggest pornstar on Porn Hub right now, wanna see", said Thanos as he whipped out his purple phone. "No dude I don't wanna see that crap", Grimace said pushing Thanos's phone away. "Oh, your still dating the blood sucker", Thanos said to Grimace as he glared at Morbius. "Yes, yes he is but were actually married now", Morbius said with a forced grin. "Come on Grimace, why couldn't you marry someone normal like the rest of us", Thanos said to Grimace, putting his buff hands on Grimace's shoulder. "Excuse me? What the FUCK do you mean by normal. I would like to think I'm pretty fucking normal", Morbius said as he got closer to Thanos. "Well your not purple so your not suitable for my little bro. And you better get out of my face before we have a problem", Thanos said to Morbius, their faces inches apart from one another. Before anything could happen their was a knock at the door.

Grimace opened the door to see his little sister Twilight Sparkle. Grimace grinned hard at the sight of her and hugger her tight. She was the only family member he kept contact with. She was the only one who didn't mind Grimace dating non-purple people. "Twilight you have no idea how happy I am to see you right now", Grimace said to Twilight. "Twilight you finally made it", Ursula said as she welcomed her in. "Our little feud is over... for now", Thanos whispered to Morbius as he went over to talk to Twilight. "Well then, now that everyone's here we can finally eat dinner, as a... family", Ursula said to everyone. "Great, I'm so hungry I could eat some purple bussy right now, ah ah ah", The Count chuckled as everyone walked to the dining room.

Everyone ate their purple chicken and purple potatoes in silence. "Hey everyone, I have some great news a wanted to tell", said Twilight breaking the silence. "As you guys know me and my boyfriend Mordecai have been going steady for a few years and... I'm pregnant". "Oh my goodness, my little girl is going to be a mother", said Ursula on the verge of tears. "Wow honey that's great, however we've never seen Mordecai, why is that", The Count asked his daughter. "Oh... well... he's always busy with work and all of that stuff", Twilight said, trying to change the subject. "Can't you at least show us a picture of him? Unless your trying to hide something from us", Thanos said to Twilight. Grimace and Morbius already knew the truth. They looked at each other in fear of Twilight. "No no no it's just... I don't know if you guys will like him", Twilight said shyly. "No... don't tell its what I think it is... he's not purple is he", Ursula confronted Twilight.

"No... he's a blue jay", Twilight said lowering her head. "First Grimace now you, and your growing a monster in their", Ursula said in tears and clinging on to her husband. "You know what, I've had enough of this", Grimace said as he stood up. "Why should it matter if we found people we love who aren't purple. The important thing is that we found love with someone", Grimace said to his parent while hugging Twilight. "I. Don't. Care. In our family you either marry someone purple or you can FUCKING LEAVE", Ursula yelled while pointing at the door. "Fine, then we'll go, goodbye forever mom", Grimace said as he and Twilight walked out. "Oh yeah by the way Thanos, your porn fucking sucks", Morbius said to Thanos as he punched him in the face and quickly followed Grimace and Twilight.

"Thank you for defending me Grimace", Twilight said in tears. "Of course, you did it for me so I had to return the favor", Said Grimace. "So... what do we do now", Twilight asked Grimace and Morbius. "I say we go pick up Mordecai and go to Buffalo Wild Wings. I have some friends who practically live their that would love to meet you two", Morbius said to Twilight. "That sounds like a plan", Twilight said as the three hopped into the car and drove off to eat some bussy wings.

A/N: I made this chapter a little more serious so I'm sorry if you don't like the sudden change of tone. I'll go back to the goofy stuff next chapter. I just had such a great idea and just rolled with it lol. I hope you enjoy anyways :)
