A child wonders, what will happen;
When the skies fall?
When the trees call?
When the people bawl?A child wonders, when will;
When will the Earth tumble?
When will the seas rumble?
When will we crumble?A child wonders, what will we;
Do to stop the End?Does it depend?
Does it depend on us?
Will the universe bend?
Will we ever not fuss?A child, so young, so bold,
Never thought of what's it like to be old?
A child, so youthful, so free,
Starts to question, what's to be?For at night, that's all he can do,
All he sees at dark is deep blue.
No big white moon, no bright little stars...
Even with a telescope he can't see mars.For he caught a glimpse while just a baby;
Now older but still young, it's just a maybe.
He doesn't remember their form of diamond,
For now he understands that humans have dunned.Will he ever see the stars again?
If not, what will happen then?
Will his family and friends bawl?
Over something he rarely saw at all?His beloved mother claims their forever long gone.
He's distant, for he'll also never see a pretty dawn.
We, people of Earth, have caused this tale of lack;
For now the once beautiful sky is now a veil of black.The stars are gone, not anymore to be.
It was our unruly fee.
We caused this downing feat;
Now to see a single star is such a treat.For the skies have crumbled,
And the Earth has tumbled,
And the Stars are no longer there.
Brilliant beams of light based on a prayer.It's our fault, it's our disaster,
We have became a master castor.
We have failed at this world;
Oil, gas, CO2, air, and water swirled.We are unable to reverse,
For we have caused this curse.
How do our children, and their dreams,
Reach those beautiful beams?Those beautiful beams of light;
That only come out at night.
Where are those bright flares?
Why can't we find someone who cares?Someone, who cares about the stars,
Those little blinks are now scars.
Used to be imprinting on any young mind.
But now, they shall never see the stars aligned.Now the night has been swallowed,
A dark haze soon followed.
The end was short and quick;
The night air is ever so thick.Now we bid farewell and goodbye,
To the trillions of stars in the sky.
We say to the sky, goodbye and farewell,
As we quest on what we hope to not quell.We do not want to end the stars at night;
Because we love them and their brilliant light.
So stop this nonsense, stop the fumes,
Why are we so dense? We're heading to our dooms...
