It began as an innocent game of truth or dare. But things turned out to be very different from what both Hakari and Kirara had imagined. Hakari knew about Kirara's feminine interests, but he never expected that his best friend might be the woman of his dreams.

Hakari walked into his yearmate's room, it was cluttered and there were clothes and boxes everywhere. "Kirara, did a bomb explode in here?".
From the bathroom you could hear the water running. A voice sounded cheerful "just grab a beer from the fridge, I'll be right there!"
The big boy stepped over clothes randomly lying in the room towards the small fridge next to his friend's bed. Cold bottles of beer lay neatly in a row, the cool air was pleasant, because Kirara's room was warm and dense. Once again he had forgotten to close the curtains against the hot summer sun.
The shower stopped, a drape was pushed aside. Just when Hakari wanted to sit down he heard muttering from the bathroom. "What is it?" shouted Hakari.
"Can you get me a towel?"
Without saying anything, Hakari grabbed a deep purple towel hanging over a chair, but something fell out from under it. For a moment Hakari looked dumbfounded at red lace panties. Did Kirara happen to have a girlfriend over? No shook Hakari, Kirara would never do that. He doubted at all if he was into women. But what would that mean? In order not to embarrass his friend, he shoved the panties under the chair and walked to the bathroom.
There stood his friend again hidden behind the shower curtain. "A towel, do you have any more wishes?" joked Hakari.
"A vacation to Hawaii is something I would like." joked Kirara.
Hakari put the towel on the sink and looked around. For a boy, surely there were a lot of lotions and a small container of nail polish? It had a bright green color. But Hikari did not dwell on it because this was Kirara, sometimes he had his thumb painted a color.
Quickly he left the bathroom and plopped down on his friend's bed and took a sip of ice cold beer. Hakari said to himself Kirara is going through something right now, he will give him space to do this'. And besides, Kirara was always kind of the girl among boys. He was a tough fighter but also graceful.
As Hakari enjoyed the ice-cold lager that caressed his tongue. With his eyes closed, he leaned with his head against the wall. To the rhythm of the music he slapped his hand against his leg.
"Didn't you get me a beer yet?" asked a dainty voice from the bathroom doorway. Kirara stood there in slightly oversized gray sweatpants and a tight white tank top.
Hakari looked with a mischievous smile "I don't want to give you a warmed up beer."
Observing, the big boy stared at his friend who strode smoothly past the clutter in his room. "Your hair is getting pretty long already, are you letting it grow?"
Suddenly Kirara stood still and twirled a lock of hair around his finger "don't you like it?" he asked glumly.
Hardly, Hakari began to laugh "of course it looks good, you are the type that everything looks great on."
Almost giggling Kirara walked on and pulled a beer from the fridge. "Oh how I would love to be at the beach right now, but that mission this afternoon took longer than expected."
The boys sat next to each other, raising their toasts by tapping their bottles against one another. Hakari looked aside as his friend, who was taking a sip of his lager. Kirara smelled wonderfully. Not like a man, but more like soap and sea.
