It was an early weekday morning at school, it was fairly warm for the time of year, Y/N was sat on the hood of her friends car listening to some music. She wasn't a popular girl she only had a handful of close friends but Y/N didn't mind that she actually preferred it.
She watched as the popular girls were pointing and laughing at other students who they despised for not being cool like them, Y/N accidentally caught their eye and they frowned with disgust at her and started to shout hurtful things at her but she didn't care she just rolled her eyes at them and stuck up her middle finger at the group,
While Y/N was sat outside on the hood of her friends car she wasn't really paying much attention as she was packing her things into her bag all she heard was an obnoxiously loud car engine pull up in the parking lot of the school, she couldn't see who it was because the sun light was blocking her view so she just carried on getting her things ready for her first class. That was until she heard all the girls gushing over the person who was getting out of the car and when the person had got out of the car they blocked the sun from Y/N's eyes so she could actually see who it was.
She smiled brightly to herself as she jumped off the hood of the car and made her way over to the new student, the girls who were making fun of Y/N were confused as to why she was walking over to the boy, he wasn't looking in her direction though he was scanning his eyes around the area to try and suss it out, Y/N took the cigarette out of his mouth and started to smoke it
"Hey what the—" he objected when he felt the cigarette being snatched from his mouth but when he looked down and saw Y/N he smiled
"Why didn't you tell me you were moving here?" Y/N asked him
"Can't I surprise my girlfriend?" He smirked getting the attention of the other girls who were gawping in shock,
"Course you can." Y/N smiled as she slipped her hands underneath her boyfriend's jacket and hugged him around his waist while he placed one hand gently on the back of neck and caressed it lovingly as he looked down at her and she looked up at him, "I've missed you Billy Hargrove." Y/N whispered to her boyfriend who smiled
"And I've missed you too gorgeous." Billy said, Y/N never got tired of hearing Billy calling her that in fact it made her smile even more. Billy then kissed Y/N lovingly which got the attention of the whole school.
The bell for class went off loudly so Billy and Y/N made their way towards the school doors together, as they passed the girls who were mocking Y/N earlier they started to call out her name
"U-um Y/N! Wait up!" They called and all Y/N simply did was raise her middle finger to them all again as she walked passed— Billy smirked to himself at how his girlfriend had just acted
"That's my girl." He whispered to her as he kissed the top of her head before the two of them walked into school together.
