Main Abyss
The palace hall is dark, napupuno ng itim na mahika na kahit na sino'y matatakot. May mga aninong umaaligid, ang mga itim na usok ay malayang sumasama sa ihip ng hangin. Even though things seems to be unusual, everything is normal. At least for Abyssinians. Kahit na gaano pa katirik ang sikat ng araw, hindi tuluyang napapasok ng liwanag ang bawat sulok at pasilyo ng palasyo. The curtains were high, dark, and long enough to cover the halls. Abyssinians dwell better in the dark, and the Queen herself loves the dark for darkness creates fear, and that's what she wants.
"Hail, to the Queen! Hail, to the one and only Queen of the Abyss! The strongest of them all!" The servants chanted as she walked towards her throne.
The torches on the corners of the hall were ablaze, lighting the area with spooky ambiance. The servants were now on their feet, bowing to their one and only Queen. The person they believe the reason of their existence.
Naglalakad siya patungo sa kaniyang trono sa marahang paraan, animo'y napakabagal ng oras na siyang mas lalong nagpapabigat sa lugar. Sa lahat ng palasyo sa Abyss, ang palasyo sa Vultruz ang pinakamalaki at pinakamagara. Dahil dito naninirahan ang Reyna ng mga reyna ng Abyss, ang pamilyang Tyler. It has a lofty vaulted ceiling, rich scarlet banners embroidered with gold threads, and an obnoxious air of luxury.
With veins of dark red and silver running across the dark marble walls, the space exudes majesty and terror. Dim, flickering light plays off the smooth stone floor as huge, elaborate chandeliers dangle from the ceiling. A tall throne composed of gold, blood red, and obsidian, with a deep crimson leather seat, is positioned on a raised dais at the far end. The backrest is made of a complex silver filigree.
Despite the dark ambiance, a strong delicate odor permeates the air, contributing to the small lingering impression of sweetness. A few of powerful individuals in opulent, dark attire kneel around the throne, their faces obscured by darkness, awaiting the Queen's order. Bloodstains from previous, invisible battles, crushed flowers, and abandoned gems are among the shards of squandered luxury that litter the floor. Except for the creaking of the massive golden doors, which appear to open only when the monarch is there, the room is quiet.
"What are they doing in the dark sorcerer's hermitage?" The Queen asked one of her members, the one leading the hermitage.
"My Queen, they're preparing for the war." The man replied.
"The war, I see."
The Abyss is always prepared, no matter how long it would take, they will never back out when it's about war. For they will claim the supreme throne in the land, and they will gain the most power amongst the other kingdoms.
"Any update from the kid?" She asked, her voice echoing in the dark and silent throne room.
"She'll be in the academy sooner."
She smirked.
"Make her life miserable, then. So miserable and painful that she either die or turn into a monster."
