Chapter 1 Part 1: Moving

Jungkook sighs as he looked out the window. The sky was dark and grey looking like it was about to rain "Honey we're almost there just a few more miles and we will be in Gravity Falls." Jungkook's mom said trying to cheer her son up. The boy made a lazy "woohoo" sound before zipping his mouth shut and gets quite again.

"Sweetie look I know you don't want to be with your uncle but you're only going to be with him for 3 and a half months. I just didn't want you to stay alone at the house and you haven't seen your uncle in a while. He's a very sweet guy, that one incident does not make him evil. It's been so long since that happened."

"Can we not talked about this please.." The boy asked softly still looking out the window. The woman sighed, not saying another word keeping her eyes on the road. It took a few more hours of the quiet car ride for it to start raining. When it started raining they just got into Gravity Falls.

They kept driving until they made it to another part of the woods to see a house. It was lightly raining when the boy and mother parked and got outside the car. They both got Jungkook's 3 suit cases out and they both walked over to the door of the house. The woman knocked on the door and they both waited for only like a few seconds before a man opened the door.

"Oh Kaylie! Hi!" The man said hugging the woman as she chuckles hugging back. The man let go moving back seeing Jungkook. "Jungkook my boy it's been so long how are you?" He said leaning in to hug the boy who just stepped back looking away from him. "Mom can I please just stay at a hotel or something?" The boy asked not wanting anything to do with his uncle. "Sweetheart that was rude of you say hi to your uncle now." The boy sighs looking over at the man before saying "Hi.. now my can I-" "No."

The boy sigh frustratingly, "Then may I go to where ever my room is?" "Oh where are my manners come in." The man said moving to the side as both walked in. The boys uncle closed the door looking up at the two. "Your room is upstairs the last door on the right." The man said smiling softly to him to which the boy said nothing carrying his suitcases up the stairs to go to his room.

"I'm sorry Chaeyun, about Jungkook." The woman said looking over at her brother. "Hey it's fine, sooner or later he will warm up to me. He can't hold a grudge for ever." The man said smiling over to her. "Okay so I need to leave now but can I have like a snack before I go?" The woman ask before the man nodded leading her down the hall to the kitchen.

The boy walked into his room seeing a bed in the corner next to the window on the right side of the room. A dresser on the left side against the wall, a closet next to the dresser, a night stand next to the bed and a desk right next to the door. The boy moved his suit cases against the wall as he took his phone out and turned it on.
Seeing his phone had no bars meaning no service.

He groaned walking down the stairs yelling "Mom there's no service on my phone here!". He goes to the kitchen walking over to her. "Well that's because you're in the forest." She said getting her keys. "I have wifi if you want to use." The man said looking over at the boy. "Then can I have it?" The man tell the boy the password as he types it into his phone. "Thanks.. I guess. Mom are you leaving now?" He asked as his mom nodded hugging him.

"Be good okay I will miss you.." She said as she kissed his forehead and said bye to both of them before walking out the door. The boy walked back up to his room leaving his uncle alone. Chaeyun sighed, walking down the hall to his office closing the door before locking it.
