XI.

finally able to update:) i started working have been so out of it ! buttt i am going to anime expo on july 2nd and im so excited (hoping to find a kakashi body pillow)

——— Time Skip ———

A week had gone by since the events of our last mission. After reporting what had happened to the Hokage, he had believed that the man just wanted to pay less for our services since it wasn't cheap to begin with.

Even so, Kakashi and I did not think that was the case. As much as the two of us wanted to go back to investigate we had not been allowed to look into it any further.

Just like how the hokage told everyone to stop looking for me.

For the past week Kakashi, the rest of Team 7 and I have been training for the Chunin Exams which were right around the corner at this point. I have seen immense growth in both Sasuke and Naruto in this time. However, I am unable to say the same for Sakura yet, once she gets over her obsession with Sasuke, hopefully she will become a better ninja. Even so she does show potential in some aspects that the two boys do not.

Outside of training Kakashi has been a bit distant. After out mission ended we kinda just didn't interact much.

Maybe the stuff that happened at the campsite in the forest bothered him.

Today had been no different. We had training yet not a word gad been spoken between us.

"Sensei?" I look down to see Naruto at my side with a worried expression written across his face.

"Yes Naruto?" We had finished practice a little over 2 hours ago and ever since I had just been wondering around the village.

"You okay? Whoever has you feeling this way will get what is coming for them! Believe it!" He says balling his fists together. I couldn't help but smile a little at his enthusiasm.

"I am alright Naruto, but you should be headed home to get some rest. We have early training tomorrow" I ruffle his hair and turn on my feet to begin walking.

"Alright Y/N Sensei" he says before I hear his footsteps walking the other direction. Naruto may be very oblivious at times, but he does do well with consolidating people.

Before I had realized, it was already sundown. Making my way home I stop in front of Kakashi's place.

Maybe I should talk to him? I think to myself. We wouldn't be good senseis if we couldn't get over whatever this is.

Walking up to his door I knock gently. Standing there for a sec, I ponder, wondering if this was a good idea or not.

Just as I was about to turn away to go home, I hear the door unlock. To my surprise however, I am not met with Kakashi's masked face, but a brunette woman.

Her makeup is smudged and has eyeliner trailing down her cheeks. She is half naked, only covered by a robe that was too big for her, it exposes her cleavage. The brunette's wavy hair is all sorts of messed up and bite marks are apparent along her neck and the exposed parts of her breasts.

Feeling my own face heating up from embarrassment I quickly bow down and apologize

"I am so sorry for interrupting something, I..I thought Kakashi lived here. I must have come to the wrong place." As much as I want to mentally deny it, this was definitely Kakashi's place, and right now he is 100% hooking up with this lady.

She looks at me and scoffs. "No this isn't Kakashi's home, and yes you are interrupting something. So get lost. And even if this were his home, I am sure he wouldn't want to be seen with you."

I am taken aback by what she is saying. Nodding in response, unable to say anything from this mortifying interaction. But as I turn to walk away I hear a familiar voice.

"Who is there Kyou?"

Kakashi.

I quickly turn back to see him standing there in just a white bath towel wrapped around his hips.

Kyou turns to look at him, "It's nobody!" she says sweetly.

He ignored her and moves closer to get a better look I presume. Then he sees me and his expression changes from confusion to complete and utter shame.

He walks over to the door and gently pushes Kyou back into his house and steps outside, shutting the door behind him.

"What are you doing here?"

"Ah, I wanted to talk, sorry if this was bad timing. I didn't know you were seeing someone." As much as it hurt saying those words, why did he never mention it? Even after all of our interactions.

"I.." He starts and rubs the back of his head. This was clearly awkward for the both of us.

Bowing my head gently, "You wouldn't want to keep her waiting now would you? She seems like a lovely woman," That was a lie, obviously, "Maybe we can chat some other time Kakashi? Anyways goodnight." And with that I quickly turn on my heels and speed walk to my apartment.

As soon as I am in the comfort of my little abode I sigh and sink against my door rubbing my temples.

Sasuke comes out of the room, a small smile plastered across his face as he exits his room. But then it drops as soon as he sees me, realizing something was up.

He quickly walks over, "You okay (Y/N), what happened?"

Things have gotten a lot better between me and Sasuke as well over this short amount of time. It is nice to be this close with him, especially when nobody else is. I guess it is only because I am his big sister, but still, it is nice to have someone you can trust.

"Nothing is wrong per se, I just saw something I maybe shouldn't have." I stare blankly at the ground before me unsure how to express what I am feeling.

"I see, I am sorry (Y/N). Maybe we should rest though, we have training early tomorrow."

I hum in response and get up, patting his head gently as I walk towards my room, unable to say a word.

As soon as I was alone in my room I shut the door and strip myself of my clothes. I crawl into my cozy bed, curling up and pulling the pillow into a hugging position, quickly falling into a deep sleep.
