"Salut~ Commander! Won't you sit with us?"

The commander had come to visit Richelieu, but she wasn't there at the time, as she had become unaccountably delayed on some matter or another. Her time was in high demand, as she was both the military and spiritual leader of the Iris. He was going to meet her today all the same, but he was certainly going to have to wait- but what that meant at the moment was that he was going to have to wait with Surcouf and Revenge.

The Royal battleship hadn't yet moved in with the rest of the Royal Navy, seeming to prefer her current state of accommodations with Surcouf. Granted, Revenge might make some excuse here and there about how she was planning to move in with the Royals and hadn't yet for reasons, but it was obvious to everyone that she just preferred living with the submarine for the time being. The commander decided to join the pair for lunch, seeing as he was in the area anyway, and eventually became the subject of Surcouf's teasing nature.

"So commander, have you come to terms with the fact that you may wake up next to a gorgeous ship every day?"

The commander sputtered with his drink. Surcouf was certainly direct. "We're still working on the living arrangements and expanding the living space in the headquarters, but I'd lie if I'd say that wasn't a thing I was looking forward to."

Revenge smiled. "It's not as though the commander isn't a worthy fellow. It might also cause her majesty to have a bit of a fit that her knight commander isn't under her immediate roof, but it's not like she's on the other side of the world."

Surcouf giggled. "Of course she'd have to be out of sight. After all, I'm sure that the commander and King George get up to things they can only do when no one is watching. It's fun to imagine what they do with each other~"

Revenge coughed a bit. "Really, bringing that sort of thing up... A-Anyway, I'm sure that the commander treats her with the dignity due a leading ship of the Royal Navy no matter what they do together."

The commander finished his coffee. "As long as you keep it in the realm of imagination. I don't pry into what you do on your own time."

Surcouf shifted in her seat, keeping that smiled of hers. "Well, there's nothing shameful about it- it's all just good fun and learning more about the girls close to you. Like, did you know Revenge makes the cutest noises when you-"

Revenge immediately squeaked, and instantly turned tomato red. "And that's something that the commander does not need to know about!"

The submarine giggled. "Fine, fine. But I will at least say that the ninja outfit the blossoms gave her is absolutely per-fect." She slid out of her chair. "Hold on a moment, I need to go get something." But before she left, she spun around and gave Revenge a kiss on her cheek. "I'll be back soon, don't you worry~"

Once Surcouf had left, Revenge had to take some deep breaths and shake her head before going back to her regular color. "...So, I guess things are all right with Surcouf?"

She exhaled a bit- not really a sigh, just... de-stressing. "She's always flaunting herself and doing embarrassing things like that, but... Well... I don't know if you've ever really been the subject of her undivided attention before, but when she fixates on a person, she really does want them to be happy."

The commander settled in. "Does this mean you'll be living with her from now on?"

Revenge thought about it. "I had thought about moving in with the Royal Navy, and told myself this would be a temporary thing, but it might be too hard to leave my current arrangement. We are more than just stand-ins for our countries here, after all, though I will always be a fighting ship of the Royal Navy."
