A/N: this story will be nothing crazy, let's pretend that sodapop has a mom and a apartment😍😍🫶🏻🫶🏻 lol.

I woke up at 4:30 PM to my mom yelling out my name. I get up and I go downstairs. "y/n, I've been calling out your name forever" mom said, "well I'm here now, now what's wrong" i said. "my co-worker invited us for dinner tonight, she has a son about your age, so I need you to go get ready" a boy my age? huh. "ok mom I'll go get ready" i said in annoying tone, i go upstairs and i start to get ready. i made the decision that i would wear a all black plain shirt with a white tank top on top with some dark jeans. i leave my hair down and i wear my all black converse.

i head down stairs and i get in the car with my mom and we head over to whatever his name his. i zoned out for a minute and i just keep on thinking to myself ,what he's like , i wonder if he's handsome, or hot- then i notice that we are here. we walk into the apartment and all of a sudden this very cute boy opens the door, then he just began to speak "hello you must be ms. y/l come on in" we walked inside and mom said hello to her co-worker, we sat down to eat, we ate steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, "well this is my daughter y/n" my mom spoke up, god this is so embarrassing. "hi y/n im sodapop" the cute guy spoke, he took his hand out so that i can shake his hand, which i obviously did because i dont wanna be rude. we all ate and me and sodapop went into the living room, we were talking about random things, then he said something that kinda shocked me "so do you have a boyfriend?" i just said there quietly then i responded "no i dont, why ask that question?"

"oh i just thought you were kinda cute that's all"
When he said that I could feel myself turn really red, did he just say that I was cute...? woah, then all i heard was giggles "what, why are you laughing" i said confused, "oh nothing, but do you actually wanna go take a walk?" he asked
i just thought to myself "what if he hurts me?" but i didn't really care so i said yes and we got up and went outside and ofc my mom said yes that it was okay, when we were walking he stopped for a little bit and looked at me "what's wrong?" I asked "can i give you something?" he asked, i was curious so I said yes and all i felt was his hands go on my waist and he gave me a KISS? i let go and i slapped him in the face "wtf is wrong with you?" i said to the boy "ouch man wtf was that for?" He said "You just kissed me" i said "yeah?" he said nervously "we just met" i said, so I went back to the apartment and told my mom if we can go, so he went home, but i kinda felt bad because i slapped him and he looked hurt but i mean he was cute but still.

~Next Day~

i was still thinking about yesterday and i wanted to go back and say sorry but i was kinda scared but i didn't really care so i got my stuff and went to the apartment, i knocked on the door and there was no answer so i gave up and decided to just forget it and go on a walk in the town, as i was waking i saw the boy sodapop but he was with other guys, i looked at him and he looked at me including with the other boys, i try to walk pass them but sodapop stopped me and said

"hey aren't you y/n?" i heard the other guys said to him "yo you know this chick?". i said " yeah that's me, but can we actually talk in private"
"yeah for sure" he said, we walked a little further away from the boys and i said "I'm sorry that i slapped you yesterday, i didn't mean to" "hey there's nothing to worry about, it's my fault" he said while we made eye contact, we stared into each other's eyes for a few seconds and then i said "oh ok well i guess I'll let you go with your little gang or whatever" i giggled a little "you have a really nice laugh you know" i felt me blush a little while he said that to me, i smiled and he was just starring into my eyes while i was starring back. He closed his eyes and put his lips into mine, but he quickly removed them away from mine "omg im so sorry" he said, i kinda felt bad about yesterday so i placed my hands on the side of his cheeks and gave him a kiss back, we kissed for about 5 seconds and i let go and he just looked at me with confusion and said "why did you kissed me back?" "because i felt bad for yesterday for this was a little sorry gift you can say" i said while smiling then i kissed his cheek and left off.
