chapter twenty two

Sia's POV

to be honest I wouldn't mind going to the ball alone just with my friends
but something inside me wants for Lorenzo to ask me

but I know that won't happen, I was sure about it

Lorenzo only took one girl to a ball, and that was some girl at a summer camp for wizards he went to 2 years ago

i don't recall her name right now

maybe I'm thinking too much into it but it wouldn't be bad for us to go together right

everyone would be shocked but I'd like it

"what are u thinking" Lorenzo asked while being on top of his broom

I'm having a last quidditch lesson with him before Christmas break, I suck at this but I need good grades

"nothing, keep going" I said avoiding to look at him in the eye

"seriously" he said smirking and taking a short breath

"what's wrong" he said again trying to make eye contact with me

"Lorenzo I'm just fine, just finish with this stupid lesson" I snapped back at him

" u won't even look at me, what the hell did I do wrong this time" be said obviously mad

"u did exactly nothing, that's the problem. you know what, I don't have time for this okay, let's just get this over with, I have to get ready for tonight" I said

i saw him do the tongue thing, u know what I mean?

he always does that when he's pissed

i scoffed at that and continued flying around on that broom

i really suck at this for real

after the lesson was done I left and headed to my dorm

i texted Konna and she said she's over at Selene's dorm doing hair

i was just going to take a quick shower then head off to Selene's as well

he can be so irritating some times
if he takes some other girl to the ball I will most definitely be pissed

he just confessed to me about his feelings and he can't just take some other girl to the ball

i was finally done with my shower and went over to Selene's with wet hair

when I knocked at the door Selene immediately opened and they were all looking gorgeous

"woah u guys, u look so pretty" I said smiling

they all said thank u back to me and Selene put me down on a chair and started with my hair

"what are u wearing tonight" she asked while brushing my hair

"just a green dress my fathers got for me" I said smiling at my reflection in the mirror

later that afternoon we all did our makeup, even Christine put a shiny eyeshadow

we were all breathtaking

we all went to our dorm to put our dresses on

Christine was fixing her eyeliner in the bathroom mirror
and Konna was trying to find her necklace that she was going to wear

i put on some leather black heels and I'm probably going to regret this but they look pretty so

i searched through my jewelry box where I keep everything in

i saw a black velvet little box

3th year, October 6th

today is my birthday,

everyone is over to have some fun, including Lorenzo, Christine, Mattheo, Draco, Konna and Blaise

we are now opening my gifts and I let Lorenzo's for last since he is my best friend

he smiled as he handed me the little white bag

i smiled back at him and opened the present

i saw a little velvet box and I could tell this was expensive

i opened it and I saw a little green diamond in the shape of a drop swinging by a golden chain

"Enzo this is gorgeous" I smiled still in shock

"u like it?" he said while smiling wide.

i ran and gave him a big hug while smiling the whole time

i smiled at the thought of those good times

i opened up the box and it was really pretty, more than I remembered it to be

"hey, can u help me put this on?" i said turning around to face Konna now

"sure, pick up ur hair" she said and I did as she said

she clipped it together and I walked over to our mirror

it was literally stunning

i don't think I've ever worn this before

i don't think Lorenzo's going to notice it, or even recognize it but it meant everything to me right now

i smiled at myself

i feel better now that I wore this

"ready?" Christine said walking out of the bathroom

"yeah let's go" Konna said and we all opened the door to walk down
Christine first, Konna and then me

i couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at who is tina walking to

Ginny Weasley.

so this is who she's been seeing all this time

i love them together to be honest
they are the cutest

Konna walked over to Fred but also hugged Lorenzo before

Selene's jaw dropped when she looked at me, I looked pretty Toni not going to lie

i walked down holding my dress up a little so I won't step on it

i saw everyone looking at me since I was the last one to walk down

i felt really good since they all smiled at me

even draco approved of my look by throwing me a hands up when I looked at him which made me smile a bit more

I met Lorenzo's eyes, which were looking at every step of mine
i held the eye contact until I noticed that Blaise was looking at us looking at each othe

i reached the bottom and last step and I was hugged by Theo who smiled at me

"I've never seen u this pretty, Golden boy is going to lose his shit over u" he said

"thank u Theo" I smiled back at him

Blaise and Draco went over to talk with Fred and Konna

while I was in a group with Christine, Ginny, selene and Mattheo talking about how unexpected their relationship was but still adorable

at some point I walked a bit away to get my bag from the couch

when I looked back Lorenzo was again staring at me but not a single word left his mouth so I shook it off and we all left the common room to go to the great Hall where the Yule ball took place

i really hope this is going to be a good night
