SC3- UNTIL DEATH DO US PART

Gulf rose early in his bed, the warmth he miss this past few days, Mew's body.
His husband spends a lot of time in the hospital now, and it saddened Gulf even more because he is only allowed to visit for a few hours and then he will be sent home.

After 54 years of being together, Gulf realized that true love does exist.
The love of Mew and him is strengthen by time and moulded by experience.
They are together through ups and down, thick and thin, problems and harmonies.

Gulf slowly walk to the bathroom, and took a quick shower. He dress himself while looking at the mirror.

Gone the beautiful, sexy, powerful and authoritative look of the previous Nattarine.. What's left now was him, his white hair, that he refused to dye with black. He liked it white, as Mew said, this is the evidence that they are already together for a long time, but Gulf maintained a long hair. After brushing his hair, he got out of their room and slowly walk to the kitchen where his son Narrine is busy preparing breakfast.

"Can I help you?" He offered with slow soft voice.

Narrine smiled warmly.
"Nah, no need Momma. I can do this. I made fruit salad for Dada.. Let's take this to the hospital later so if he will wake up.. He can eat this immediately. We have, oranges, strawberries, peaches and many more." He look away when Gulf's eyes teared up.

Mew has been sleeping for days now.
Will he be able to wake up?

"Good morning! What's with the gloomy faces?" Alexander, Narrine's first born graced the kitchen and kiss his grandfather. "Granny, Let's eat breakfast.. We will take you to GrandDad.."

"Yeah, let's eat." Gulf agreed after calming himself.

After that, Narrine drives for Gulf to the hospital.

Gulf's heart clinched in pain seeing his husband for golden years lying on the ICU.

The doctors said he is still holding on. Maybe because of their promises on each other that they will die together?
Gulf cannot afford to see him suffer anymore.

The moment the nurses allowed him to get inside the ICU, he slowly walk towards Mew's bed.

He's peacefully sleeping.

Last week was his birthday, we celebrated and we are happy. After that.. He got an attack and ended up here in the ICU.

"Hi Daddy.. I'm back. When will you wake up? I miss your warmth beside me." Gulf hold his hand and press it.

He jolted when Mew's fingers, moved.

He's awake! Gulf hurriedly call the doctors.

But when he turn his back on Mew, the heart beat monitor beeped nonstop.
Gulf was terrified. He is ready on this but not yet.. Not now..

Doctors came rushing in.
And he was announced as dead after a few minutes.

Gulf was stunned on his spot. Death is unstoppable and it cannot be escape,
His husband is already in the resting place. And he is sure that Mew will wait for him.

Years has passed, Mew was still glued on Gulf's memory.
Just like today, is the 7th death anniversary of his husband, and weeks after it will be his 88th birthday.
Each year, all of them visits the mausoleum, together with the 81 years old Nattarine.

Narrine sits on the bed and gently shook Gulf's shoulder.
"Momma.. Are you awake already?".

Narrine's heart swell when he saw his Momma hugging the big panda stuff toy with His Dada Mew's clothes on it.
Such a pure and great love they had.

"Narrine.. Yes.. I'm awake.. You know your Dada showed up in my dreams again.. He said He will wait for me." Gulf slowly got up. He already lost his vision.
He said he can see but blurry.

"of course.. You will see each other.. We will go to him now.. Let's bath Momma.." Narrine slowly held Gulf's hand and walk him to the bathroom.

Tharn his husband came in and help him up.
After Gulf is prepared they eat breakfast together and headed to the cemetery.

Gulf held the white roses tightly.
Mew is his one and only great love.
When they reach there. They allowed him to sit there beside the grave and have a heart to heart talk to his beloved.

"Dhie.. You said you will wait for me.. But I don't know when will my death comes.. Please don't get tired of waiting for me up there wherever you are.. I love you so much Dhie.. I miss you like hell.. Each night I am alone hugging the toy you gave me in our 40th anniversary.. You remember that? I even ask Narrine to put the last shirt that you wore before you passed away.. Each night I had a flashbacks on where we started, on the club, our first session, our first time.. I cant forget it.. Most specially the fact that only I can make you hard.. Sorry if I talk too much Dhie.. I don't know when I can visit you again because I can't see clearly now.. " Gulf wipe his wrinkled eyes.

Narrine stepped aside, hiding his tears.
While Tharn hugged him.
It is always like this since Dad Mew died.

The love between Mew and Gulf is immeasurable.
No one can measure how great it was.

"I know you remember Alex and Mick right Daddy?" Gulf continues to talk as if Mew was really there.
"His boyfriend is Art's grandson.. Fate is really a great joker.. I haven't meet him in person though but Narrine said he's a sweet person.. Also Mick.. That kid.. He also had his own lovelife now.. That's all for now Dhie.. I'll save everything if you will visit me in my dreams again.. I love you, and I miss you.."

That very night, Gulf dreamt of Mew again, together in the a beautiful place, beside the lake.

"Daddy?" Gulf called him, slowly... Mew face him with a smile.

"Hi baby.. I told you don't rush on following me here." Mew hugged him tight.

"I already lived a long life without you and it was so sad. I can't go on anymore.. I will stay with you... Beside you daddy." Gulf shook his head.

"We did all our dreams in life right? We are successful, got married, had kids, we lived a long life making each other happy.. It's time for us to rest now baby." Mew hold his hand and pulled him towards a very bright area on that place.

"Yes dhie, we did all that together, let's rest together daddy.. I love you."

"I love you too baby."

Mew is always be Gulf's resting place.
And Gulf will always be Mew's solace.
